My Tial 605 melt down!!!!!

Great site!

I’m new here, been around for many years, had many other setups in the past and wanted to make this very quick thread about my Tial 605 car.
Long story short, the worst selection I could of or ever made. I’m on my 3rd set in less than 600 miles with no help or warranty from this company even after the compressor nut came off the first time!

I will make full post another day on the full history of my many setups I’ve ran in the past & why this was by far the worst one.

Did you buy new or used?

please keep us posted. Its good to hear from the actual people that have had tial errors. I know for a long time in the bigginin this was a big issue but they worked hard to sweep it under the rug.

New or used is a great question and I think that would be good to adress.

I know the eiarly builds had boost issues and shotty build quality.

Always New, aside from that there not the greatest match for this motor at all!

Don’t recognize the name, pics?

I beg to differ! My 2.7 with the 605 is a fucken beast!

If you are having this trouble, why are you having issues with fixing and replaces

Waiting for your additional post…

I have 20k on mine combined with two dozen track events and zero issues.

Same…

I’m glad some of you like your setup but this post wasn’t made to ask people if they had successful builds or if they like there setup.

Trust me I’m not the only one with complaints, another guy in New york had the exact same happen to him and he’s now having his motor pulled for the third time to sell his 605 setup aftre 2 failed sets.

The match is great if you like the narrow power band.

I guess we all have different expectations on how something should perform and whats a beast to one might be lame to another or not practical to others.

Yeah I hate having power from 60-170! I drive freeway 90% of the time so the 1/4 or stop light drags just don’t entertain me as much. Buy yes having a quicker spooling k04 with similar tq should perform really well from 0+…

Then put something relevant in this post.

Did you must say that you love not making power from 0-59 ( 1st and 2nd gear?)

Did I must say? I must say you really need to go and edit your post to make I more understandable.

Please read what I said. I like having “MORE” power up top. Didn’t say I didn’t have any power. Shit when I raced Michael in his K04 he just the start (from a 2nd gear roll) I caught him in third.

I never said I didn’t make power (in 1st or 2nd gear). Stop putting words in my mouth…

Unless I was feeding you alphabet soup, it would be impossible to put words in your mouth. I was just making fun of the fact that you don’t consider those gears worthy enough to mention when talking about power. We all know that big turbo cars don’t make much power below 4500 rpm’s. Do you consider your turbo’s to be big?

I think this thread smells funny.

If a Tial owner posted he ran a 10.90 @ 130 and then also indicates he has a buddy that had very similar ET and trap many of the anti-tial guys would expect additional documentation of such.

Seems like the OP is trying to ruffle some feathers by coming out of the box with an initial post that is clear yet vague in many ways.

Op also indicates this thread wasn’t made to ask others of they had successful builds or like their setup. I ask what is the thread for? It’s a forum correct? Are you simply looking to form a bond with others that have similar feelings re: tial kits? Not everyone hates tial kits, not everyone lives life a 1/4 mile at a time, some put Audis on bags with fruit loop colored rims so everyone has their own taste and objectives.

Keep an open mind fellas, GT3 cup cars don’t run mind blowing 1/4 miles times, and from evidence collected the tial owners aren’t killing it either but it doesn’t make for a slow car.

Sorry your experience hasn’t been a good one but realize everyone has different goals.

So what were your goals and expectations?

Do you consider OEM RS6’s big?

Well said

Jupiter do you ever dyno any of your cars? How’d they do (b7vsb5). Anyway what does a Gt3 race trim car have anything to do with this thread? Or the quarter mile?

By the way, Gt3, Gt3 rs and Gt3 cup cars all run INCREDIBLE quarter mile times for the power they make so you may want to reconsider that example first before going to the mat with it.

If guys want to focus on the fact that nobody has ever heard of this dude or tial build i’m all for it because its Weird first post (ever)…but opening up a terrible argument about souther subject altogether in here with poor facts is not advisable.

Did I must say? I must say you really need to go and edit your post to make I more understandable.
