LOL. Overall, it’s nice. I think it’ll be even nicer when I get a new rooted firmware from one of the community members. Faster bootup times, more nicely bundled apps and more control over the Android side. Hopefully, with the rooted firmware, I might be able to get my turbostick to work too. Until then, I use my BB’s mobile hotspot function.
The GPS antenna did crap out on me though. I haven’t looked at the issue yet as it’s behind the cluster. The vendor I bought it from said it has happened once or twice before and told me to simply get another off ebay and that they’d cover the expense.
I also get some alternator whine. Have to check whether it’s properly grounded. If it is, then I’ll buy a $7 power filter. Initially, I thought I needed a ground loop isolator but it’s a power whine so I’ll return the ground loop isolator I bought.
I installed Sygic for offline navigation. Works well so no complaints there. Google Maps and Google Navigation work great as well when I want to use Internet connectivity.
Overall, I’m liking it a lot.
