Which one of you guys is associated with Prime Motoring in NJ that sent me a note. If you are a JHM distributor and they “trust your installation of products” then it’s worth the trip for us MD/VA guys just to avoid all the headache…You were the first to step up euro so you are the first to race me. I’m not gonna lie, looks pretty damn fun. Do I need harnesses or anything? and I have to have an instructor on board, right? Let me see what I have going on, I have family up in Frederick, MD which is relatively close so maybe I could make a weekend out of it. I’m not putting up $1k on this though, so get over that. I wouldn’t mind coming up and running a road course with you though, I always wonder how far this car can be pushed.

Anyway, daytona, I am in DC at least once a year (used to hit up MIR on the regular since the mid 90s). I am not interested in racing since I will be on a family trip and my vehicles will be at home, but I am down to meet up. I may be able to get my cousin-in-law to bring out his M3 and some of his peeps to roll out in their rides…
I have been trying to find an M3 to race for 3 months and none of them around here seem to ever want to show up. So if your cousin is down, AWESOME… If you go further back in the posts speed you will see that me saying I went to UPENN was a response to being called uneducated. Then I was called “too poor to own 2 cars” to which I had to explain I’m not poor. Since then it’s been repeated a half dozen times to further “prove I’m dumb.” Which seems silly to me, but to each their own… 91gl, could you do June 18&19 instead

You know Capitol Raceway has been having problems and is reopening under new management this weekend right? It is sad to hear about since I always ran faster on their Friday night lights test and tunes.

My buddy dropped a 12.5 there with his 335is the last time they were open so looking fwd to it. Their facilty is no where near the level of MIR though. There have been some bad accidents at Capitol and safety concerns came into play. The week before they closed a guy slammed his Vette into the wall hitting nitrous which is why I’d never mess with that stuff. If the track has any unnoticed oil on it you could lose ur life.
what does nitrous have anything toi do with it, he hit a torque spike that can happen fi, na or sprayed. A progressive controller would take care of that issue anyways.
