)VIR is 300 miles from me so don’t whine about the extra 200.
)I’ve only been to VIR twice in my life so I’m not “experienced” on that track. If I really wanted to shaft you all I’d invite you to Summit which is my home track. But I chose VIR bc it’s one of the most technical in the U.S. and I know if some clown comes out and tries to drive above their ability they’ll stick it into the wall. And I don’t think there’s anything funnier than posting a youtube video of someone crashing next to comments about how great of a driver they are.
)There a stipulations bc a fully race prepped car with r comps, gutted, and a roll cage should beat a street car. It’s not proving anything if I lost to that. I will run stock DRC and stock brake system with race pads. No sandbagging here. It’s only enjoyable to me if a persons car is evenly matched or better than mine. Otherwise wining wouldn’t give me any joy. If somone has coliovers, fine I’ll throw on MS’s and make it even. Now if some clown wants to show up with a 600hp B5 etc. then clearly I get to whip out my boys Godzilla and you can just make it an “unlimited” event. But I don’t see the fun in that, hence reason for everyone following preset rules.
)I think whoever likes drag racing, great for them. I won’t knock it, I just don’t like it bc I think it’s more to do with the car than the driver. You can hand someone a GT3RS, R8, ZR1 etc. But if they aren’t at least a pretty good driver I’ll clean their clock which is why I like road racing. More to do with me than the vehicle.
Saki, the bet was to cover my calculated expenses to ship my car to Canada and back, flight, hotel, spending money and gas. I told you I’d make almost nothing off of that. But I thought I said $5k, who knows. I’m sure with your trolling skills you know better than me so I won’t question that.
