New Member Intro...

aka…perfect

I know a girl in CT with a Misano Red S5 as well. Absolutely LOVE Misano Red. Color pops so nice. Welcome

Hi all, new to the forum. I’m from the UK, and see a few fellow UK people in this thread!

I’ve owned Audis for the last 8 years now, so not new to them, but recently changed my car which brings about new challenges.

I originally had an A4 b6 1.9tdi, which we ended up keeping for 8 years, and I just replaced with an A4 B7 3.0TDI quattro.

I also have had an A4 b5 1.8TQS for the last 2/3 years. I’ll try upload some pics when I can.

A4 3.0TDI is neat. We never had that option here. Saloon or Estate?

Not sure if this will work/ is allowed as it’s a link from another forum. My B5 is a saloon, both the B6/7 are/ were avants, which I presonally prefer.

love B7 avants. Nice.

I would love to have my Rs4 in an avant.

That is a cool car. On this side of the pond we get left out when it comes to a lot of the really cool European cars.

I do love it, despite its faults!

It’s rather quick for a dirty DERV too. It’s been mapped to approx 250bhp, so it’s currently faster and more fun that my toy car (the b5). It just pulls and pulls. It’s thirsty though, i’m averaging mid 20’s MPG. Ouch!

I’m most likely getting the wheels re-refurbed back to silver. These came out too dark for my liking really.

Double post, apologies. Can’t see how to edit though.

Another pic of the new, and one of the old…

those old B6 S4 wheels always look great. Especialy on the more angular B6.

Yeah, I’ve always loved these wheels, hence why I kept them when I sold the B6. Once they’re back OEM silver, with center caps I think they’ll suit the car better.

Hello fellow enthusiasts! I’ve finally found one and pulled the trigger. It’s a 2013 Ibis white RS5. Here’s a couple pictures when I brought it home. Looking forward to learn more about this car from all of you.

Current Mods:

Hello everyone,

Thank you for allowing me to be a member here.
I just purchased a 2008 audi s6 c6 5.2 v10. My friend is a technician that works at my locale audi dealership and talked me into buying the car. He was supposed to help me with the vehicle but now he dipped on that. So I am stuck with a car I know absolutely nothing about, and I hope to learn from everyone here. I do not have an extensive car background so this will be my first time ever trying to do some of this stuff myself. The car does have a lot of check engine light codes. I bought it on the 3rd of September and I will be trying to put a new suspension on my front right side tomorrow. With everything being said. I do love this car already so I have made up my mind to see it completely through.

Hi Navertte,

If you’re interested in keeping the car and you’ll be working on the car. spend the money to get a ross tech cable. Vag-com you’ll see some call it.

That is the single best took you’ll have as it can clear and read codes. Code modules and log. You can get cheaper read tools but in the end this is one of those things it’s worth spending a few more dollars on and getting.

Thank you!. Ran into some issues trying to do the axel and ended up paying a shop to do it for me lol. I have been having pretty bad vibration problems, not sure what the cause would be. I read it might be engine mounts going bad. I also got new spark plugs but have to figure out how to install them without screwing anything up.

I’ve been wandering around here for a few weeks so forgive my late intro. My name is Casey and I am in Bangor, ME. I recently sold my super clean C6 S6 to pursue a V10 swap project, thread here. I have landed here because you guys and gals seem to be the no BS, trailblazers of this platform and I hope to learn + contribute!

Cheers
