Yes. Didn’t mean to show off. You asked for pics!
Yeah, I know I was just kidding. Awesome collection.
Glad to have you join. As you are an RS4 owner, it is definitely a great place to discuss these cars.
Agreed
Thanks. As luck would have it had first (minor) problem with one RS4 today: got a CEL, ran some diagnostics, and turns out rear 02 sensor needs to be replaced. That car has a JHM tune and full JHM exhaust and wonder if there is a connection.
Did you just get that work done. If so that might make sense. The jhm tune and exhaust help the car make tons more power and flow then stock. Of your 02s are old the extra flow will show the age of your 02 sensors really quick. The nice thing is the jhm tune is very quick to pop up error codes if you have any. This helps keep the car safer a good addition to the jhm tune.
Thanks for the response. Tune and exhaust installed last summer. Car has 20,500 miles on it, of which 3,000 are post-tune/exhaust. BTW, can’t say enough about performance improvements with the JHM bits, especially at the altitude at which the car is normally driven. I compare it to a second RS4, which is stock save for a Milltek exhaust, and the difference is night and day.
I would create a new thread in the rs4 section. It will make the conversation easier to have. Usually I would say just make a post give some info on the car and the mods. That will help people help you.
sorry…did I see that right? You have 2 B7 RS4s? One stock, one with JHM full exhaust and tune? and then you have an RS5?
That’s awesome.
Any chance you can film a couple of races?
-
JHM RS4 vs. stock RS4
-
JHM RS4 vs. stock RS5
-
stock RS4 vs. stock RS5
that would be amazing data to gather.
That would be pretty awesome…
Also, WELCOME you lucky bastard.
Thanks, Saki and Euro. I do feel pretty fortunate to have the cars I do, although my knowledge base probably lags a lot of people on this board. While I’m not planning on doing any 1/4 mile runs on any of the cars (in part because I’d embarrass myself and in part because the only local strip is at 5300 foot elevation), I have taken the RS5 to a local road course, and plan to take both it and the JHM RS4 to the same track on the same day when the weather warms up. Won’t be able to get any film of the races but will be able to compare lap times for the two cars. BTW, the RS5 is not completely stock; it has GMG springs and front and rear sway bars which do improve track performance;
Its still a heavy pig, though, and needs upgraded brakes.
Just have a friend that you “trust” drive one of the cars and do a few side-by-side pulls. Nothing insane, maybe just a third gear pull. The track comparison is cool, but pretty hard to see a performance comparison.
just a side by side pull from 2nd gear through 4th would be cool to see. You can simulate a 1/4 mile run without having to go.
How do you like the RS4 vs. the RS5? pluses minuses of both? One of my neighbours has an RS5 and I’m always staring at it.
Awesome collection you have going on there. Welcome. Post up in the RS4 section.
Hey All,
I’d like to introduce myself as a the latest NOOB. I’ve had several Audi’s…my latest being an 07 S6 that I’ve had for some time now but never really frequented the forums much. Was busy getting married and buying a house…lol. Now that those big life events have settled I hope to have more time to spend with my first…errr…second love… my Audi. Not an Ace Mechanic but do try to perform most repairs/maintenance myself so hope to gain a lot more knowledge here as well as contribute what I can to the community.
Welcome to AudiRevolution!
Looking forward to seeing some pics of the S6, and hearing more about the car and any issues you have encountered.
When you have some time, it would be cool if you could post some pics in the C6 Members profile thread too.

Especially if your S6 is a color other than Phantom Black Pearl. LOL
I have nothing against that color (mine is PBP myself) but I think we have had about four or five black S6’s join the site in the last month or so. I am starting to think they are all the same guy with multiple personalities
Thanks for the warm welcome v8a6.
Haha…mine is not PBP…thought my prior audi was
I just posted there…
Thanks again.
Welcome…Man the S6 section is really starting to grow!
Good…love those cars. Looking forward to them trailblazing a performance trail so I can grab one and laze about with a V10 wailing away.
When i was jumping into the Audi world i was choosing between my DTM S4 and a 2007 S6. I ended up with the S4 because it had less miles and was smaller (driving and parking in NYC is a bitch). I still love those cars. I could see myself picking one up in 5 years and having it as a daily.
