Gotcha. I’ll give them a call tomorrow
ATT insurance is an add-on, you can purchase it at any time iirc (wifey did this); $5mo add-on.

Here’s my leather case for the 6. In the month that I’ve owned the phone, I’ve manage to drop it at least seven times at a height of 2ft+ onto pavement or sidewalk and stepped on once when it fell onto the floorboard.
Mt friend has a 6 plus and it’s reeeeally slippy . All smooth round edges and brushed aluminium. Would be great to have some knurled areas on the side to make it easy to hold. Otherwise, time for a skin, pronto !
With extra big phones you tend to hold it with your pinky on the bottom supporting it a bit I find. So it doesn’t slide down/drop. When I did that with the 6 plus, there was a cheese grater there. Speaker maybe?
Apple will iron these things out with the 6s or whatever it will be called.
P. S. I love knurling
^^
I had to google “knurling” and then Google image it. Haha, new word added to my vocabulary.
I had look up knurling when JHM released their shift knobz
Yeah, I had to get a case for my iPhone. Though it isn’t a slippery as the Nexus 4 with a glass back lol.
For anyone out there with an iPad 3 who hasn’t downloaded the new iOS, spare yourself the effort. I unfortunately made the mistake and updated my iPad last week, and it has ruined my internet-surfing experience. It’s become very slow, the bookmark function is all fucked up and needlessly complicated, and I get frequent Safari crashes. And my kindle app is inaccessible for some reason.
Good thing I have the Plus.

Strange. Just the 3? I’ve kept my iPad 2 up to date, and it still performs.
I use chrome on it, thought. Not safari.
Same with iPad mini and iPad 2. Both working fine.
Noted. I’ll check out the chrome app.
hard to believe anyone uses Safari on purpose. First thing I do on a new Apple computer is download FireFox
On my phone I use Chrome, and Dolphin
Dolphin is great because it can view flash content.
Interesting article on Samsung profitability (Apple biased)…

That article is embarrassing to read. Sounds like it was written by an apple fan boy who was mildly retarded, and most definitely unemployed other than writing for free for an apple website.
Very strange.

Hmm, hadn’t heard of dolphin. I use chome on iOS as my goto browser, but I’ll check out dolphin.
Also, add, I got the iPhone 6 last week, and thus far have been very happy coming from a 5.
Apple related, my Gpu just failed on my 2011 MacBook Pro . Apparently it’s happened to tons of people, like over 10,000. There is a petition over on change.org for apple to do something about it. My dad had a 2010 or 2009 MacBook Pro, also has issues, 2 years in, he realized his computer would die if it wasn’t plugged in. Sort of kills the point of a laptop.
I’m gonna see if anyone local repairs macbooks(Gpu is integrated into the motherboard) otherwise…I guess it’s time to finance a new one.
Graphics card on my 2010 27" iMac went bad last year. Computer has been useless since. Sucks - but I don’t think I’m going to pay for the repair.

DIY lol.
Haha thnx bango. I actually came across that page when I was considering doing it myself. But it just seemed very intricate, and I was concerned about damaging the machine in other ways. I don’t know, maybe I shld reconsider.
ifixit ftw
I’ve done the following repairs on my apple computers
Macbook - 3 replaced ard drives
iMac20" - replaced hard drive (nightmare this one…had to take the whole thing apart and the screen was epoxied into the case and just…fuck it was awful. Something like 75 steps on iFixit)
Macbook Pro - new HD, new battery
Their computers are frankly crap. The failure rates are insane. I’ve had a few Dell PC computers over the years, and literally nothing ever failed. Once exception being my dog got tankgled in a USB cord, which snapped the USB port ont he computer, requiring a new motherboard. Dell sent a guy to do it and I was a bit nervous abotu the cost until he was done and told me it was free. This was 2 years into owning it.
Everyone used to tell me dell was crap. Funny how that is.
I worked in a place that used Dell laptops and desktops. They took a lot of abuse but survived. Now I work somewhere that uses HP. Not so durable.
My first laptop was an ibook. Got it in 2004 with a free ipod and student discount. The thing was abused and lasted me til 2010. Great laptop. When it came to buy a new one apple was all popular and expensive so I got a think pad. Great laptop. Built for abuse and the best keyboard in the business.
