no, it’s because big tire 8 or 9 second drag cars need lining up straight…so that they’re in the groove, and because if they don’t start straight, they hit the fucking wall hard. Or the guy in the other lane.

Yes on that run his mph was better. I saw him pulling slowly at the end. Maybe 1 mph faster.
He is only 18-19 and drives the car like a mother fucker. Nice guy to.

You can see he has to be very delicate with it in 1st and 2nd. I bet his 330 foot sucks (relative to yours). Your 330 foot on that run was probably around 4.98 ? That was a guess. I bet he’s around 5.25.

edit: just checked. those are more of a track day tire than a drag tire. Still help but not as much as a drag radial.

interesting that he has a 90mm throttle body as an upgrade. I think that was stock on the B7 RS4. I think we actually share the part with the C6 Z06.
