None really other than I don’t need a provincial front plate and I dig it. Oh, that and it gives cops with laser guns a nice, bright target to pinpoint just how badly I’m behaving.
hahaha I just wondered if the letters were code for something
The system is all about quality sound, so it’s really not that loud. Well… it does get pretty loud, but not so if you’re outside of the car. And the exhaust? well you know it’s loud, but… it’s amazing how I’ve come around. I want header sounds now!
haha I was a real pussy when I first got my Fast Intentions/Piggies on my B7 S4. I thought it was retarded loud. Then I got used to the drone and how to avoid it, and all was well. By the time I had 2.5 full catless JHM downpipes/FI catback the volume had doubled…and I was very fine with it. It was a bit crazy though if you really got on it.
I’m pretty sure I whored these pics out several years ago on another site but since I’m new here thought I might post a few up. The car looks the same and no issues since I bought it new in Nov 2008 with all of the mods being done March 2009 or 6k miles. Currently have 43k on the clock with the only change along the way was replacing the Giac tune with JHM’s. Hartmann rs4 reps in machine finish with 255/30/19 eagle f1’s on Statis c/o’s, Milltek dp’s with stasis exhaust was the options as I wanted to maintain the factory warranty. Champion Motorsports performed all of the work. I absolutely love this car as a daily!

Great pics
Talk to me about your garage floor…did you do it? How has it held up? What was the product?
Thanks
My favourite…
The garage floor is fantastic, I get many comments from others including the Chinese food delivery lady!
I’m not a big DIY guy as I lack the talent and confidence to tackle such projects.
Cost for the floor is between $2500-3000. Here is the link for the company I used down here, I’m sure there is one similar in the GTA.
There’s no need for an expensive camera. Granted you’ll definitely get some better pics but all you really need is Photoshop. You can take as many pictures of a scene as you want and import them into Photoshop to automatically create a panoramic photo. It automatically lines up the edges and combines them into 1 image instantly. It makes things really easy.
@Jupiter I’ve seen pics of your car many times. That thing looks great man. You really pulled off the yellow calipers which is not an easy thing to do.
Cool. Thanks for the heads up Dubz.
Thanks Apat! I wish I had more quality shots, which are generally taken by others, but I don’t.
@Jupiter - I love that rear bumper. Where did you get that one from?
Seems like a standard stock DTM bumper to me.
Axel mentioned it, DTM option from the factory, referred to as the DTM package or exterior sport package (GmbH). Not sure how many were produced but I don’t think it was very many.
OK gotcha, I was thinking that had to be some sort of factory option. I just wish they didn’t slap that red reflector on there. Either way it looks awesome.
The Euro spec DTM version doesn’t have the reflectors. Of course, they’re more expensive to buy here.
Beware the speckle finish epoxy garage floors if you are any type of DIY guy, they look (and perform) fantastic, but you tend to lose small parts and screws easily because they blend in with the pattern. You can also get solid colors in the same material.
Good point
Magnet mop to the rescue
yep.
Very true! Saki, I never mentioned it has held up great and still looks amazing with little maintenance. Every once in awhile I’ll mop it with water and it still looks as good as the day it was done.
Finally got around to “vinyling” my trim. I like it.
