I thought about getting a Durango RT. They are pretty nice and look way better than the older ones. I was impressed with the way they drive.

X2 on the way they drive. We needed something that seats more than 5 and I INSISTED it wasn’t a soul-sucking thing to drive. Really for the $$ there is no direct competition to the Durango R/T as far as comfort, size, equipment and especially driving dynamics. It corners very flatly with good steering feel and the ride is well composed. All in it’s pretty good for a 5300lb beast. Tack on a burly muscle car exhaust note and voila - muscle SUV to go with the S4.

Picked her up last week. Bone stock except for the wheels.

Tint yesterday, professional polishing next week, and then some KW v3’s in a few weeks.

Love it, great colour. Alberta plates too I see…

Icanfly, what wheels are those?? Specs??

another Canadian? wow. Lots of Alberta representation too.

Love Dolphin Grey S4s…especially avants. There’s one in my neighbourhood that used to taunt me. when I bought my B7 S4 Sedan, it was only after hunting for a good Avant for a few months. I gave up and bought a sedan…then started seeing this old bearded guy in a Dolphin B7 S4 Avant on an almost weekly basis while driving around town. Bugger.

Sorry for the cell phone pic.

Time for a summer mode pick I took this afternoon.

^^^HAHA. Car looks damn good but that doesn’t look like summer. Where the hell do you live?

Calgary probably

hey, how was the car on snow with your summers? I have my summers on here (since early march actually) and there was a day where we were supposed to have 10 cms of snow. I was wondering how the RS4 would handle it. Probably not well!

I’ve ran my summers in snow before and it’s not that bad. It definitely slips and spins much easier, but if you take it easy on the throttle, you be just fine. I definitely wouldn’t recommend taking a long trip on the highway or anything, but bombing around town it was pretty decent.

there was a guy on AZ who drove from Whistler to Vancouver on his summers in a blizzard.

None of those rental agencies at Vancouver airport put winters on their rental cars - despite the fact one of the main reasons for going there is Whistler!

Going straight or accelerating went surprisingly well… Stopping or turning not so much.

god help you trying to go downhill lol

damn… I did work-home in a blizzard on my RS3s and that was more than enough lol

A member of my local Audi club snapped this pic at our C&C on Saturday. I was glad to see my ride smack dab in the middle looking pretty good right before it rained.

(too bad that big dork is in the middle of the shot :-\ )

Thanks for posting the link Saki. The pic can be viewed much better by clicking on that.

Those kind of shots make me want to go spend big bucks on a camera and take a photography class.

Forgot this thread existed (it was pushed back to page 6!).
