You deffinitly dont want that exhaust. Its the same size as stock.
The reason you liked the sound. When they rev it notice the black smoke. That tells you two things. One its untuned and two its catless. You like the sound of the exhaust without cats. Add in the fact that its in a inclosed building its like driving in a tunnel. The sound is different. So you can sound almost the same. On a stock exhaust just take out the cats.

I just found a video comparing the exhaust notes of the Viper vs the S6 the other day, I’ll try to dig it up and post it here. Interestingly, most of the YouTube commenters preferred the sound of the S6. I think I agree. Even though far more subtle, it just sounds “cleaner” and more refined.

One thing the s6/s8 does is sound good, seems that’s one of the highest praises for the cars. You have trouble finding a poor sounding one. Good stuff.

If you listen to the video with your eyes closed is actually sounds terrible. It sounds like a shitty honda. I remember it sounding so much better. I think after hearing what some of the forum members have done here with there exhausts that it really makes this sound like crap
Yeah, I think it sounds decent .
A little raspy at times I will agree, but you are right about more proper exhausts on the site here sounding “cleaner”
Maybe we can get v8a6 to post a video or clip of his car in motion, that way we know what a proper setup might sound like

Hahaha, I love the Fast and Furious throwback chapter titles in that Jalopnik article. Wish I could afford headers, but that kind of price just for a different exhaust note just isn’t in the cards. My milltek may not add any real performance gains, but it does sound pretty good. Sounds really formula-oney, with no raspiness, and no dull droning noise on the highway. At wide-open-throttle, I’ve been known to set off car alarms of parked cars on a few occasions ;D
Before it gets hot, though, it’s got kind of a rattling sound that bugs me a little, but it cleans up and goes away after a couple minutes of driving. One of these days I’ll get underneath it and try to figure out where it’s coming from.
My car was def. a little more raspy before it fully warmed up, possibly that’s the rattle ish sound.
My cayenne GTS with a similar exhaust does the same thing

That exhaust is dang aggressive. Love these clips.
It’s very stable above 100mph. Been 150+ on track and maybe 140ish off track… scary so probably never again lol
