Looks like Redline SI-1 fuel system cleaner has the highest concentration of the active ingredient, which is a PEA(polyether amines), on the market.

redline is very good in several other areas. I didnt know about the fuel system cleaner. I have had great luck with seafoam but its harsh. Its hard to really say in some cases as you cant really physicaly see the after effects.
-I tried to snag the clubsport coils off audizine but someone beat me to them and got a deposit down, I told Bensopra to let me know if the deal takes to long, or buyer decides to back out as I have the cash in hand.
Sorry to bring this up in your thread, but how was the communication with that BenSopra seller? It really seems like a scam account to me especially with several different CHEAP KW Clubsport listings using different pictures. Googling that name brings up a known shitlord/scammer in the same area of CA. He joined azine and hasn’t posted anything except for FS ads.
Communication was fine actually, if he hadn’t sold to a local buyer I would have moved the deal farther along, but now that mentioned all this I did a little more digging and his account seems alittle weird, but I definitely didn’t get any bad vibes off him during the process of talking to him.
Komseh, just want to say thanks ahead of time for all the hard work your doing! after i posted my LTFT and them not looking to bad, Komseh recommended i log a few more values too see what they were reading;
Ozcar, Your long term fuel trims look fine. They are well within spec and the variation between the banks is only 2.4%. Bank 2 is SLIGHTLY lean, but I don’t think it’s lean enough to indicate a fueling problem. It may be possible that bad spray patterns could cause the pinging though.
Did you reset your codes or ECU recently before you took this snapshot of group 032?
Can you log groups 33, 106, and 140 at idle, 1500rpm, 2500rpm, and at the rpm you get the pinging for 15 seconds each on both banks? That will give more info about the fueling performance.
Also, how old is your MAF and have you logged your MAF rate recently?
Ecu has not been reset, and has been used as a daily for 5+ months, the MAF is I believe is the original from factory, have yet to log maf rate, will do that on the way home tonight.
i have a hexnet+ or whatever its called so unfortunately even with the vcds plugged into the comp Turbo mode is not available, i also forgot to add in the RPM stamp, but did roughly 15 seconds at idle, 1500,2500,3500, and back to idle.
Here is the logs from Engine1/Engine2 for measuring blocks 33,106,140.

thoughts?
logged my MAF on the way home and saw a peak of 156.97@7720

I couldn’t meet the logs to open I’ll try again. Later but that MAF reading seems low. What were the temps
Ya should say that was for engine 1, with engine added I’m in the 310 range. Did alittle searching and seems that’s what Saki and mistro were putting down when they were doing some logging.
Temp outside was 2deg C. So should be seeing some good power with how cold it is.
Well long time no update, house and life get in the way, but i finally got some time in to wrench on the RS. I finally got around to installing the injectors, new pcv, and performing a carbon clean. The car started, and pulls strong, but the downside is that Im still seeing a huge amount of timing being pulled from the motor. I attached two files to this post which i doubt will work, but in summary I’m still seeing an average of -8.3 of timing being pulled across all 8 cyl, and even spiking as high as -10.5 and -12.8. From most of my searching over my old logs, the timing being pulled was about what i was seeing before the injector install, I only got to drive the car a couple days, and I did drive it fairly hard, but was monitoring it with vagcom. Honestly I’m not happy about the amount of timing being pulled even after fresh injectors, but i did notice that my fuel rail pressure seems to be lagging about 3-5 psi behind the specified values, not sure if that is my next route to take? thoughts
as it stands;
8 new hitachi injecters
intake manifold spacers w/ heater bypass
JHM fullback catless exhaust
JHM 91oct tune
JHM Oil Cooler
8 new spark plugs (not sure of the exact mileage on them but over 25,000km’s)
PCV
Fuel filter
intake filter
Nothing attached but its not a big deal. I think your explaination should be enough for most.
Injecors are a big issue for most so its smart you got them cleaned or got new ones. I assume you got a carbon clean as well.
Given the mods you have you would see a maybe -5 through -8 timing pull depending on the oil temps intake temps and the quality of fuel. in good conditions obviously the car should see less. keep in mind a stock RS4 has about the same timing pull depening on conditions.
fuel wise can obviously be an issue what is your LTFT showing.
