I was thinking once i cant afford to pay for a set of front euro rs4 seats i have been looking at these, what u guys think?

Fixed, awful looking suede race seats in an rs4 make about as much sense as a giant spoiler on a city bus

the recaro cs would be the one and only aftermarket seat I would put in my car. they way only 33 pounds.

hey saki i meant the style not the material that they are made, the material i did not decided yet!and yea the recaros are only 33lbs:)

the first and third are the same seats just different trims. I was browsing the recaro website and u can have any material and stitching u want. (within their selection)

Yep! I was doing the same, and man they look good! Do u guys think that is bad if i only buy the driver side? Or it has to be both?

If you’re considering fixed back, have you looked at the recaro pole position? Its pretty similar to the status ring gt except it doesn’t look like the bottom bolsters are quite as high. And they are fia approved.

Also, I guess they are pretty comfy. Read a few people say they went on 5-6hr road trips with no comfort issues.

i wouldn’t do fixed seat cuz i like to lean like a gangsta when just cruising bumpin tunes lol.

as far as a single seat my ocd wouldn’t allow it.

Corebeau(sp?) has some nice new seats that look similar to the ones you posted. They are significantly cheaper but you can only get them in pleather.

I sat in a car with fixed back seats. Too upright for my level of swaggah

denrs4, have you looked into pricing? I believe 2 new Sportster CS with heated seats will run close to 3500-4000 for a pair. You should be able to find some euro seats at that price, but obviously wont be new, and a little heavier but I think they just look better.

the euro seats ive come across are at least double that. ive seen up to 16k pounds for a complete front and rear b8 rs4 set. its nuts.

I came across an article of rs4s being broken into and all that’s taken is the seats and the insurance companys are actually writing the cars off because of the extreme cost of the euro seats. fucking crazy and I cant imagine how they come up with these prices. theyre covered in cow not fucking gold

Yep i heard that too ppl breaking into cars to steal the seats! The cheapest one i came across were around 7k$ and yea the recaros CS is around 3500/4000 for a set!

the other issue with those seats is the seat belt. im not willing to go to a 5 point harness and the oem seats have the lower portion of the belt integrated into the seat so im not sure how youd go about using a regular belt.

Looks like the belt clip comes with the seats (based on the photos at the top).

I’d be more annoying at losing my power/memory seats. Not that I share the car with anyone on a regular basis but still. I like the comfort features :slight_smile:
