First off 20 milliseconds is 0.020 seconds. The Ferrari F1 transmission shifts in 135 milliseconds, or around 0.135 seconds.

He claims he shifts in 70 milliseconds a.k.a. 0.070…or HALF the time of the Ferrari F1 transmission. So no.

Let’s say he got the decimel wrong, and he meant 200 and 700 milliseconds. That’s 7 tenths of a second for him…and that’s grandma shifting shit. So he must have meant 70…and that’s fucking impossible at less than a tenth of a second.

So I have no idea what the fuck he’s talking about.

TSIVAS…can you post up one of his runs? We can see his shifting time right there. I reckon it’s likely around 3 tenths of a second…or 300 milliseconds…or about 4-5 times what he claimed.

Maybe I should add stage III to my sig since I will have it once it’s released? Makes sense doesn’t it? lol

Saki, Yeah that is the comment I was talking about in the GD section… There is NO way he can shift as fast as a DSG or even as close as he thinks…

My biggest question is why hasn’t he hit the dragstrip? He was so gung ho last year after running a very nice time in his dad’s REVO car but no dice in his 6-speed car… What can’t launch? Oh that’s right those 0-60 times are meaningless… IE I can’t launch my car so they are meaningless…

Makes me glad for my first trip to Cayuga with Saki - $30 hot lapping all day long. I think I got 17 runs in.

Was a no name gas station. Nothing was really open. The car was running .15 secs faster 60-120 than night before with a not as good DA. Something was up at 120-130 time because it lost almost all of it and there’s no shift- just riding out fourth gear. He said something felt off up top. wish i logged to see all that timing pull lol. Def gas related.

we did a little testing of axel’s B7 S4 Avant today but unfortunately conditions werent ideal (wet from the snowfall that melted)

have just had a quick look through but his car appears to be getting better. He was running quite a bit overweight with about 200 lbs of extra stuff in/on the car vs. it’s fighting weight (i.e. roof box, tools, spare, and a bunch of other shit in his trunk) but coming along nicely. His 60-90 times were in the 3.8 range. We had one that was 3.9 with me drivng and both of us in the car, so about 400 lbs of extra weight.

Looking forward to seeing it hit the strip soon. Same with you Long Island guys. Plan an Atco Saturday morning here soon. If it’s a monster drive, consider booking a cheap hotel nearby on priceline name your own price for $45, leave home at like 9pm on Friday after your kids or wives are in bed, then check in, stay over, and you can head over for 10 am or whenever the gates open.

–B5 Stage 3 S4 best was 12.067@120.22 ( I had him run vbox at same time, was dead on E/T wise…trap was a little high but I am sure doing saki’s method of calculation would yield close traps too. He needs to work on those .5-.6 sec shifts though)
