good point. You’re probably giving up a little bit there. Again though, I don’t think the 3.0T is any sort of dog down low. So it’s probably not as much as it sounds

I’ve asked someone to do a pass at the strip shifting a B8 S4 at 7000 and then make a followup pass shifting at 6500 to see the difference. I reckon it’s pretty minor.

Agreed. I’m not planning to pick up anything significant with a TCU tune if it ever comes to fruition. However, it would definitely help with my traps. My car likes to shift to 4th about 200 feet from the clocks. Would love to finish it in 3rd.

If you look at dblearons slips from yesterday, one of them was against a C6 Corvette that shut down mid run. ET was something like 12.1… mph was 92 :smiley:

He was just in awe about how good looking my car was!

The tcu tune makes a HUGE difference if only at the redline increase, changing from 6k to 7k is a noticeable diff.

If I make it back out to the strip again I will shift at 6200 and see what the times look like.

It is port flash so you can switch between 91 and 100 if your close enough to your tuner. Most folks never run their 100 octane tune either.
