But he wants to have the B8.5 record…lol

What is the difference? Facelift, MMI, interior pieces, slightly different center diff, shift knob, steering wheel, …a soundaktor…lol

I was going to seperate them and I think I did on one of them, but I don’t see the point so I started making them all b8

It’s not b8.5 anywhere at Audi, is it? Just a forum thing.

If anything its the B9. If that’s the case, let’s change it to B9. But B8.5 doesn’t exist.

The changes are what you listed for the most part but they also changed gearing very slightly, and lowered the redline on the DSG cars dramatically.

Just figured since all my runs are on the same fuel in both my cars, and the others are listed at 104 correctly figured we’d keep it the same across. For comparison reasons.

The B8.5 makes less boost than the B8. Also the B8.5 has a longer 4th gear which is affecting the trap in the manual cars.

I figured since you listed a stock S5 as B8.5 on the list we’d keep all the B8.5 times together since we’ve seen there are some differences in power between the two models thus far.

not a big deal lol

Don’t have any video from the outside and no one went with me.

Saki you messed up the descriptions. My car is a B8.5 and the info you used for mine is also my dads. Also we were both on 104 octane, not 110.

B8 = 2009+

Thought it was 110. Does it matter? Race fuel is race fuel really for the purpose of the list. It’s not really a “I have the 104 record!” type thing. All the race fuels get lumped together as race.

Did the chassis code change from b8 to b8.5? It didn’t from b6 to b7, both cars were 8e. B6 to b7 was also just a facelift but we know there were timing chain changes. The confusing world of arbitrary chassis codes lol

They’re not chassis codes, they’re body style codes.

Yes, B6/7 was 8E and B8/B8.5 is 8K

So logically b8.5 should have been just b9 like you suggested above! Or the b7 should’ve been b6.5 and the b8 should’ve been b7 lol. b6.5 rs4.
