So I calculated the stock wheels to weigh 50.8 lbs based on ur pic saki ( 26.8 )and Tirerack weight of pss michelin tires ( 24 lbs )…
Mistro said his Winter wheels 47.4lbs
So ~ 3.4lbs savings
Jhm rear rotors also 2.5 lbs lighter…
Combine the two and it’s ~5.9lbs lighter per rear corner

True but his wheels are actually heavier than stock. So putting lw wheels doesn’t make sense. Since he has 20lb tires his combo is lighter but we never mention lw tires.
IE The b8 s4 comes with Dunlops as stock tires and they weigh around 28 lbs each. Half the guys who get new tires get Michelin PSS or something else but we don’t put ‘lw tires’ even though they shaved 16 lbs of rotating mass. Nor do we put ‘HW tires’ when someone gets Bridgestones.
If someone goes from 30 lb peelers + Dunlop to 25 lbs wheels + 24 lb PSS… Or 18 lb 18" + 23lb tires…that’s a significant change of between 44lbs to 68 lbs of rotating mass. That is certainly worthy of a mention. If your wheels are 1 lb heavier than stock but your tires are 3 lbs lighter it’s negligible.

This is with a 1.7094 60’! if I could have landed my best 60’ of the day which was a 1.6628, it might have been perfect.
Setup:
- GIAC Stage II - 104 Tune
- DSG Tune
- JHM LW Rotors
- Eurocode Headers
- Roc- Euro Intake
- AWE CPS - With Coolant pump
- 14 gallons of pump 100 Octane mixed with 2 gallons of e85 - ran with about half a tank down to empty. I went through half a tank of gas on these passes.
DA shows around -62 calculated using:
- 42 degrees
- 787 elevation
- 85% humidity
- 29.92 barometric pressure
