Better conditions and just running on pump I think will give you some nice results.

Car def has a 12.3@111ish in it.

C12 is leaded- are you catless?

He basically has mistros car but without any lightweight parts… Or another way to look at it is my car if i add a tune.

So in summertime evening DA at a different track with no prep, badtoyz is basically matching me. Pretty decent. I think there’s a little more in it even in summer conditions, and then another tenth or so in cold conditions. Car should be trapping 112 when it’s cool.

As far as the race gas it might actually help when it’s hot and you’re pulling timing otherwise from 93. When it’s 65 degrees though and you’re running 94, it may not help much.

I tested 110 vs 91 on an 85 degree high humidity Friday at Cayuga and it helped about 2 tenths and 2 mph. That was vs 91 in much worse conditions, and I also hadn’t been carbon cleaned yet.

P.S. Did you make any passes on that native reserve gas that made your car ping? :o That whole thread was fucking ridiculous. You had a JHM tune and no mods and hadn’t carbon cleaned. JHM says only run the 93 tune on 93 or better. JHM says only run the tune with piggies + a bigger than stock cat back. You had a stock exhaust, with carbon, and put 91 in from a native reserve… And because your car pinged, losers on audizine think JHM is unsafe? No… Badtoyz is unsafe…and reserve gas is unsafe lol.

So who updates the database - Sakimano? Have I provided enough for an entry?

just figuring out to navigate over here. ill see if I can post a pic of the car with the number on it and I have one video for the day but its a 12.66 pass. info on the car is jhm 93 tune, jhm full exhaust with cats and res, intake spacers and k&n drop in filter. I know this car has more just needs a cooler day. I used ice on the intake and I did have VP racing fuel C12 in the tank on the pass but it did nothing. i made 17 passes and was very consistent all day.

reason I say c12 made no difference is because I made 10 passes in a row that were all 12.70 to 12.74. 6 were on 94 then I put the c12 in. made no difference until weather changed. the 91 incident was because I was out of gas on a fishin trip and had no choice. when the car pinged I immediately took it easy. it got burned out mostly cruising down the 400 so no real biggie.

How much gas did you have when you added the C12. You can’t say “race gas did nothing” if you diluted it or it actually never made it to the motor to help.

Also to safe I’m “unsafe” isn’t really fair. That’s like saying a guy who jumps out of a burning building and breaks his leg is unsafe. My options were fillup. Get towed by some ghetto ass or leave the car get gas and come back. The last 2 were really not options at all. The only point I was trying to make in that thread is that if u do the tune with supporting mods, pre carbon clean and all u have is 91 u may hear some pinging. And yes that thread got out of control as do a lot it seems.

And jhm is awesome. They make great parts and put a lot of thought into there tunes. I never once blaamed the tune. I was told all the things u mentioned above. And I knew before I put the gas in it was a bad idea. Like I said though no choice.

Are you basically saying. You never had an issue with pinging untill you put crap gas in the car and now that the crap gas is gone you’ve never had any further issues?
