That’s normal. My sister’s bmw had the same thing happen. It’s stock. Common sense tells you bad gas will get bad results. The issue is audizine is filled with loosers that need to make dramatic posts to make themselves feel more important. You end up with the same people who don’t know how to change their oil telling you how you should listen to their advice on something they know nothing about.
And jhm is awesome. They make great parts and put a lot of thought into there tunes. I never once blaamed the tune. I was told all the things u mentioned above. And I knew before I put the gas in it was a bad idea. Like I said though no choice.
I have a diploma from fanshawe college for automotive service tech. I also worked at a hotrod shop and had my own paint shop at one point. I’m now in custom fab (money os way batter) I have built many cars over the years and know some stuff lol. U guys are right that got blown into craziness almost wish I never mentioned it. I just wanted to share an experience I had. Anyways back to this thread. I’m gonna tweak the car a bit more and get her on a diet. I’m gonna shoot for mistros time n/a for the rest of the year and then over the winter I will be putting a jhm sc on it.
Are you basically saying. You never had an issue with pinging untill you put crap gas in the car and now that the crap gas is gone you’ve never had any further issues?

Sakimano, I saw another thread where u were interested in getting a bunch of ppl together to rent the track. I would be totally in for that. Even if we all just picked a date I woyld love to line up against other audi guys.

It’s always tough because it has to be a week day and it’s tough to get 15 guys or so.

Lol well put. My motto has always been if u brake something u get to replace it with something better. Count me In for any drag days on Saturdays and if it’s through the week I just need some notice to book it off. I’m trying to arrange another one with my buddies (mostly lexus) I’ll always throw the invite out when I go. I got a few tricks up my sleeve I wanna try out. Also soon as I can make time I’ll get over to neetronics and get some dyno time. Curious to compare. Has anyone compared the high flow jhm cats to catless. Is there a noticeable difference?
