REVOLUTIONARY RESULTS - Dragstrip database update notification thread

can you update your modlist please Jones, as well as outline fuelling etc.

thanks

GIAC Stage II V2
GIAC TCU
AWE Cold Front
AWE Resonated Exhaust
Eurocode Headers
Roc Euro Intake(with snorkel)
JHM Lightweight Front and Rear Rotors
Lightweight Wheels
Fuse 116 Unleaded fuel

Meth system is never used at track unless otherwise noted. Race gas negates the use of methanol.

If you want to add custom PCV elimination setup and 1 step colder plugs. I don’t think that should make a difference? Maybe?

ok sak id like u to post the 12.53 im not sure if ill make it back out again this year, if I do it wiull be next weekend at Sparta. my clutch may have a few more passes in it but not many.

I didn’t get a pic of the car but since u were there im assuming that’s ok.

heres the slip. im happy with the mph and its a new personal best ET but woulda been so much happier with a 12.50 lol. DA was -272 feet

Excellent MPH. Basically you launched well, then you drove well…so I’m not sure where you lost time, but that MPH should be good for a mid 12.3

In any event, the MPH shows the power is there. You also were able to show significant delta between our two cars, which is interesting

Badtoyz - JHM catted downpipes, JHM catback exhaust, JHM 93 tune, JHM intake spacers - best 12.53 @ 112.12

Sakimano - JHM catted downpipes, JHM catback exhaust - best 12.87 @ 109.1

So the delta is the JHM 93 tune, and the JHM intake spacers…and that was good for 3 tenths and 3 MPH.

That’s SIGNIFICANT. Lots of people have been wanting to see a comparison of JHM tune vs. no tune, so there you have it.

Last time when Mistro and I went, he had the tune, spacers, and lw rotors/fw vs. me. WE both had JHM catted exhaust. The delta there was again 3 MPH and 3 tenths.

Pretty interesting information. Hopefully people find it valuable.

From where I sit, it says that the JHM tune is picking up about 20whp.

im gonna try one more time next weekend at Sparta. my unitronic B5 buddy just got an exhaust so im gonna see what he can do and try my luck one more time.

I am very glad u and mistro came and that everyone in general was running shitty. misery loves company.

good times boys!

Annoyingly, this is showing as second place on teh B8 S4 list. Both rynurz and Jones were 11.61, however the list recognizes rynurz as ‘top’ because maybe it was posted first? Bottom line is we don’t post in thousands. Who would have thought the top 3 B8 S4 guys on the list would be within 1 / 100th of a second!!! Or that one of them wouldn’t be named primetime? Quite the battle in the B8 S4 world. Interesting to watch them get to the limit of the blower, then the limit of weight reduction (while maintaining dignity lol)…

thanx sak, yer not safe yet though lol…

That’s an awesome time. Is their a formula to correct for elevation???

Not really. There’s a tool in dragtimes.Com called da calculator and you can input a time at a track etc but we we’re basically at sea level so there’s no correction needed.

The corrected times are a ballpark and not entirely useful for anything more than starting an argument.

That just sucks, because some of us, at least MDUBZ and myself that I know of, are stuck in places like Bandimere and PPIR about 5000 feet up.
