REVOLUTIONARY RESULTS - Dragstrip database update notification thread

That’s insanely consistent. It’s DSG right?

Yes, and the car makes it dead simple.

9 runs in 33 minutes, total spread of 0.146 seconds from worst to best. :+1:

Whats impressive when you think about it. is how the car got that many runs and didnt have any heat soak issues that effected performance of the car.

If you get a chance. Maybe make a quick post about the car in the S6 section. There are a lot of V10 S6 guys in there but it would be cool to have a thread on the new TT s6 to get something out there for others to know how they perform stock

New PB today at the Show N Go at Raceway Park (Etown)

Basically the car has an APR Stage 1 tune and a Roc-Euro intake on the 100 map and VP MS109. I am driving on Michelin Pilot Supersports.

Weight with driver today at the track scale 4670lbs

Wow that is impressive. What’s the rs7 record these days anyways that your aware of?

Wow - awesome time, kouzman. Smokin

. When you at ‘basically’ do you mean ‘exactly’?

We need exactly.

Any lw mods or weight reduction? Any exhaust mods? Lw wheels?

The US record is still held by Efis blue RS7 at 10.33@133. Stock turbos, full exhaust APR tuned.

The fastest worldwide is still the Russian one at 10.1@139 I believe.

OK exactly:

2015 audi rs7
APR stage 1
100 octane map on VP Racing MS109 (70 mile range to estimate gas in tank)
Roc-Euro intake
Spare tire and Jack out (retrofitted spare tire since the rs7 does not carry one)
Weight with driver at the track scale 4670lbs
HRE FF15 wheels 20x10.5
Michelin Pilot Supersports 285/35-20

Ahh so lightweight wheels. How long have you had those?

For some time now. They are not the forged HREs. They use what yhe company calls flowform technology. Lighter than the standard cast but not as light as the forged ones.

Overall I saved about 6lbs per wheel. And if I use the factory size tires, I can save another 3 lbs per wheel (285 are 30 lbs where the 275 are 27lbs).

With forged you can drop another 6lbs from where I am right now, but at 7+ thousand just for wheels it’s not something that I am willing to spend.

These are very impressive especially considering the weight. That’s trans and motor are really stout. Curious how they hold up long term my guess is possibly better than the s6 or s7 with the dsg? Nice runs! What’s your goal, US record?

No goals really. I am just enjoying myself. I have no interest of pushing the car to beat records. if it happens, then so be it, but I will not cannibalize the car in order to do it. at some point I might do the stage 2, which includes downpipes and a tune for them. This would be enough to probably put the car in the 10.40-10.50 all day long.
