I’d like to see your thoughts on a transition once you get a bit of a seat time in a B8. It’s going to be interesting as yours was far from stock RS4.
Sorry for slight detail OP. Speaking of that, have you worked out logistics?
My girlfriend and I are going to fly up and drive it back. I initially wanted to ship but getting it into the States via transport required a broker (at least that is what all of them told me) which cost $1500 not including the transport cost which was another $1500. If I personally import the car it’s relatively simple b/c it’s a US spec car. The weather looks decent for the week so I’m not concerned about the new summers I had the current owner mount for me. I fly direct from West Palm Beach into Toronto on Thursday and will pick up the car at Union Station in the afternoon. I’ll enjoy the trip home through the Smokey Mountains.

Take the UP express down from the airport to Union. It’s like $24. I think I can get tickets cheaper but not likely for you. Google around and see if there’s anyway to get a deal on UP Express tickets. Lots of corporate partners. Maybe CAA if you have it?

I made it back home - got in at 3am Sunday. Ended up crossing at Rainbow and still had to pay duty - I didn’t ask questions, paid it and was on my way. I ripped down to Tennessee after stopping in Pittsburgh for dinner. The following morning we left, had dinner in Savannah and made quick work through Florida down to Jupiter. The car was flawless the entire trip.

Always disappointing to lose RS4s up here but good to see it go to a good home. I only see one about every 2 months. Only a couple dozen in all of ontario.
