RS4 twin turbo kit.

For those of you that just did a Google search for this. The kit your looking for is part of a big scam and in this thread you will see how the creator of the kit is a fraud posting under several different user accounts and being part of several scams. I would post the user name but the guy has so many it would just clog the post.

He is over 18 fake accounts.

The current one is

Quattrors4.
then there was
Princesam
MMrs4audi with a nice link to that closed fake account http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/508599-videos?p=8080691&viewfull=1#post8080691
30vKo4monster. This screen name is one of the many that he’s created to post under to stick up for himself
Rs4audi (VWVortex) is…
Mariomllr (VWVortex) is…
Jonhnyr32 (VWVortex) is… (pretty sure the idiot spelled Johnny incorrectly in his screenname)
Gt35r32
*The list probably continues.

Then there was and on and on and on. But now more to the kit and how big of a fail its been

His name is Mario Molliere is his full name.

Here are some of the scams the scumbag has concocted over time

This thread is here to show you just how much bullshit and lies that have been told about this kit and just what frauds the so-called people involved with the kit are.

The list of lies and Bullshit with the kit keep growing but to give you a few highlights on what is really going on and what has been deleted off other forums.

Let me start with this.

The owner of the kit and builder have gotten caught lying about the cars hp and keep putting up dyno sheets that show the car making less hp then a stock car in certian spots only to take them down when this is pointed out.

There was the thread that got deleted where the owner of the car put up a fake time slip from the track. Only to get caught lying after others did some searching. Lets keep in mind this isnt the first time he got caught doing this.

Then there was the videos posted on line of the TT RS4 racing a GTR. The claim was the GTR was modded. The video showed the RS4 hardly winning a race. Well turns out the video wasnt actually a video of the cars racing. Forum members actually looked at the you tube account and found a real race between the cars and the RS4 lost by a huge amount and it was shown the GTR was stock.

The actual dyno proof of the kit shows the kit makes less hp than stock till about 4000rpm and then it turns out all the attempts to really run the car at the track without posting fake time slips shows the TT RS4 kit is slower then everother supercharger kit out there. The JHM stage 1 kit is like 8000 and makes better power. The stage 1+ JHM kit costs a few thousand more of an intercooler and that kit is about one third the cost of the TT kit and its much much faster.

So to date they owner and builder of the kit keep trying to push dyno sheet after dyno sheet showing how much power the car makes on there in house dyno… wink wink… yes let me make parts and run it on my dyno… Sad part is most of this bullshit is just that. You can read below for more of the list of fails and lies that these people desperatly keep trying to put on.

I’m not making this post to tell you what parts you should get but what your not getting when you consider the clowns that have been lying to people over something for so long

if you guys have picture of conversation or quotes feel free to post them in this thread. Save everyone’s time and don’t post links post information or quotes.

Here is one of the classics. If you didn’t read the entire laugh fest that was the on going lie and bullshit about the build. Here is one lie that’s been told from the beginning. It’s just one of many

So the car wasn’t tuned and more lies stack up. But wait the shop that put the car back together that didn’t make the whole kit will sell it to you even tho the car doesn’t run and look at the dyno numbers. … hint he is lying and gets caught.
When you see the dyno number the car barely made 300 whp

Can’t imagine anyone paying 30 grand for it - that’s more than the cars are worth at this end anyway. Certainly not without a lot of data and evidence to back it up.

That said, as much of a clusterf*** as the AZ thread was, and as big of a douche as the OP may be, there is no reason to assume the kit wasn’t actually built. Just that the horsepower claims are complete imagination at this point. The videos I saw of it have it running very smoothly though, if not particularly fast.

It should just never have been put up for sale at this point. But like I said, I can’t imagine anyone buying it anyway. How many people in this world have an RS4 and would consider dropping 30 grand on a semi vaporware turbo kit?

I’m also not sure you could call this Mario bloke the “creator” of anything here. Seems to me he paid a shop vasts amounts of money (I guess less than 30K for the sake of providing the the guinea pig car) to create the kit. Is he part of the company selling it? Not clear really but doesn’t look like it.

I imagine everyone who googles around and knows what they’re looking at will conclude the extra money spent on a turbo kit vs turbocharging simply isn’t worth it. And every forum topic on this around the world already has a lot of drama in it.

You don’t know what you don’t know JC.

JC that’s why I called it semi vapour ware. It’s fabbed up , but having friends in the industry I understand how hard it is to make everything work together. On top of this nothing is being done to ensure engine health.

Jhm is hesitant to sell a 550 whp sc kit because of their testing results on the engine. These guys are hoping it works out for the best.

They won’t be here after they sell 4 or 5 and take deposits.

The same guy did this for pes when pes was pretending to have a Whipple sc kit for us.

Yes people bought it. There are half a dozen guys who are out 10 to 15 thousand us dollars because of the Whipple kit debacle. Now this guy is promoting a turbo kit the same way and people are making the same asaumptions

  1. It’s great, let him show us how great!

  2. Nobody is dumb enough to buy this.

If you can help find me quotes from his attempt to sell PES kits I would add all of these to the original post.

There was this whole thread about him too:

I think part of the problem is that there are a lot of people out there who would very much like to believe that you can have a functioning twin turbo kit on the RS4. I know I would love it! I think at this point, the s/c is going to remain the only viable forced induction option for the B7 RS4.

Ultimately, that’s not even the real question. Even if he gets it to work, even if it reaches the capabilities of the stock engine, and if he does it reliably (massive 3 IFs obviously), why would anyone want to pay three times as much as the SC option which provides exactly the same results?

Do people really want to pay an extra $20k just to be able to say they have turbos instead of a supercharger? Or they want to pay that much extra for some turbo lag in order to feel that woosh that makes them think they’re actually faster? Maybe a turbo setup will have more real world performance than an equivalent sc at speed of 120mph and above but where are you going to use that power in North America anyway? How often do people go WOT at 120+mph on public highways? (because most tracks don’t have straights that are that long). And if someone claims they do it on a regular basis, I don’t want to hear about it lol.

I just don’t get the whole obsession with turbos.

The answer Axel…is YES.

People have this weird obsession with turbos. But it is nuts to spend 3 times as much, have twice as much piping and places for boost leaks to make the same power. Anyone who says, but TT setup will make so much more power is truly ignorant in all aspects of performance. They don’t understand the possibilities with centrifugal chargers and A/W intercoolers.

I don’t get people either I guess most haven’t experienced the drivability issues with high horsepower turbo cars…those issues are usually inevitable, especially part throttle. Oh well…

very simple. There are 2 reasons

  1. most turbo obsessed people are young, or started modding cars when they were young…and when you’re young, you’re broke…and when you’re broke, you buy a small displacement engine with a turbocharger. You also don’t have money for full exhaust and a bunch of modifications…you have a few hundred bucks MAYBE for your $3000 car. What do you buy? A tune. If you have a $3000 naturally aspirated car, a tune alone isn’t doing much. If you have a $3000 turbo car, a tune can give you 15-25% power gains. This is where the obsession comes from. This belief that turbos are best sticks in the mind of these people as they graduate to other platforms…or when they troll other platforms.

The B5 S4 is the ultimate example of this. a 2.7 litre engine that is pretty much a dud below 3000 RPM, but with a tune, it produces a violent torque slam and reasonable top end. For $400 you can add 50 hp and even more torque. Then you think you’re the bomb, and troll the other platforms (i.e. B67 S4, or B7 RS4) because you know so much. Some of the B5 guys sell their B5 and buy a B6. When they put an APR or GIAC tune on the car, and it gains 0 hp, the word spreads…NA cars can’t add hp. In that RS4 thread, guys like DaytonaRS4, badneighbourhoodRS4 et al who own NA RS4s believe this turbo thing because their RS4s gained nothing with their mods (crap tunes like EPL or no-name-joe, and poorly sized exhausts). They cling to the belief that you must turbocharge to see gains of size. This despite the fact they’ve seen superchargers do so well. Easier to join the turbo herd than think rationally. Turbos are a fool’s way to entertain those fantasies of yore.

What they don’t realise is that the NA guys get about the same gains from a good tune and well designed exhaust, or thereabouts.

  1. turbos, when sized nicely, can be pushed to make pretty serious power. Like insane power. Supercharging can as well, but turbos are a bit easier. People think making insane top end turbocharged power is actually fun, but its really. You’re often left with a Jekyll and Hyde powerband where it’s a turkey below 5000 RPM and a monster above it, replete with an unsettling boost spike on the engagement of boost.

The superchargers that are out there are sufficient to get 100% out of what the RS4 engine can handle . Hell some of the big boost SC RS4 kits are getting more than 100% of what the RS4 can handle, which is being reflected with the APR kit, killing cars leading to multiple engine replacements on the customer car they borrowed for testing, and a couple of others who have raised their hands on the forum. Same for AMD who showed great promise with 125MPH trap times and 500 whp on the customer car they borrowed for kit promotion, but on retail release, AMD customers have found AMD to be dialing back the power on the retail kit where we are seeing 420 whp type acceleration and dynos, not 500 as advertised for the big boost kit.

The JHM kit for example can make enough power to melt an RS4 engine. They’re not pushing their blower hard at all. The APR kit is maxing out the 1740. The AMD kit probably has some room to grow. But AMD and JHM know that there is a limit the engine can handle…so more is not necessarily needed.

THe JHM kit appears to be stuck on a stage 1 and stage 1 + intercooler offering because they feel that 9-10 psi with their kit (aka north of 500 whp) isn’t viable on a stock engine. They have developed a built motor program, and fortunately their supercharger can push that built motor to 650+ whp, so that’s a nice thing to know.

So what your’e saying is that I probably won’t get my deposit back?

I was actually quoting what people were saying, not making a statement

people are definitely dumb enough to buy this. And people will indeed lose money.

But it’s only 503chp and 479lb-ft. Not much in today’s standards. Especially on a 4.0L TT V8. They’re obviously not pushing max power and leaving a lot on the table.

exactly

I was talking about 600+ whp…700-800 hp type cars if you’re looking at a V8. You’re not doing that with two small or sequential turbos and tuning out boost hit. Nor are you doing that with a great curve under 4000 RPM. You’re getting a whack of boost at higher than ideal RPMs. It basically produces a drag race or street race specialist that feels disappointing 99% of the time you drive it which is not while racing.

479 ft-lb at 1750 rpm is the answer. My point is that it doesn’t feel turbocharged. For a standard GT car of that size and weight it’s a lot of power. And it’s very fast in reality.

Ferrari is making a 670 horsepower TT V8 of similar displacement which, according to initial reports, has a similar non-laggy character more like a big NA.

My point was turbos can be perfectly drivable if you tune them to be that way and these examples prove that.

Back again…
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=646974

No no that can’t be right he said the tune was already done and the least of the issues. Oh that’s right he is a lying piece of shit.

Mistro’ car dyno’d a couple of years ago with JHM bolt ons.

365 whp 311 wtq
300 wtq starts virtually immediately once you enter throttle. On his chart it shows at 2500 rpm but that’s because the dyno operator rolled into throttle there. If he dynod from idle up we would see 300 tq at 2000 on

Turboscam shows a dyno where they don’t even hit 300 wtq until 3500 rpm?

And peak torque is only 375 wtq, and it’s not till 4900 rpm???

The part that is funniest is that they even showed this to us at all! Second funniest is that he says this is 4 psi and it makes 100 whp over stock (400 whp vs 300 whp stock) , and that he’s very happy. When they fix their boost issues it will be even better. He said 25 whp per psi of boost.

Ok…I’m waiting till he realizes that he said 6 psi will be max and that using his 25 whp per psi of boost (that he is happy with) his logic means 450 whp max.

A far cry from the 650 whp advertised. Maybe epl is tuning it after all lololol

Also funny is that his ‘stock’ baseline is Apr tuned. That’s probably fair though since we have seen 4 Apr tuned cars make zero power over stock ;D

It’s pretty reasonable. $30k for a twin turbo setup that puts up tune + exhaust numbers.

Thus is why the who ever the epic post forever guy who is selling this kit that guessed at the number of 650 whp and got caught is such a joke. Just sit tight this kit has been one big joke and lie the entire time will continue into that. Mark my words this untested on going sales thread will end up with the kit pushing more boost then they first guessed at and with no long term testing it will just be a joke…well it already is
