RS5 headers option already?

Hi everybody.

I am from Kline innovation exhausts. I am glad you like our product.
The system you saw is 100% made from inconel 625. Making the cat-back in inconel is a bit exotic  , but we can also make it from stainless steel. The system in the pics is 2.75 size.
On dynamic mode the system sounds beautiful, whereas in comfort mode the car is stock quiet without any cabin noise.

As we speak, we are making another set of headers for a customer in Australia, with a very nice black RS5.

If you need any other information please feel free to ask.

I stand corrected from the first page where I said it looked 2.50". Good to see some products hitting the market. Looking forward to the aussie car getting up and running.

We would love to see some acceleration tests kind of before/after. Not sure what you can provide. Dragstrips are few and far between over there but a pbox would work. Send the file over for verification so nobody can doubt it.

Cheers

Winter is ending. So by march we will have 2 dyno test, one in Europe and one in Australia.
I will record our white RS5 also, drive by, idle.

We just finished a pair of SS manifolds for an RS5 in Australia .

How much would the SS headers and catback cost?

By the way, nice welding table.

SS parts would be :

Manifolds – 3000 euro
System- 2400 euro

Prices are reduced for forum members.

304 SS or 321 SS?

I will pass the information along to my buddy with the RS5.

SS 304 .

Thanks!

I see you guys were smart and moved the o2 locations to accommodate all of the cylinders instead of just 1 per header. Would have been a complete NOOB move if you would have left them in the original location and honestly a little surprised you were even release a picture like that. I seriously hope that set of headers is not still up and running on someones car.

^^^can you explain more?

p.s. seems Milltek has just given up on performance.

Stock RS5 downpipes and catback = 2.5 or so for most of it
Milltek RS5 exhaust?

2.36" (60mm)

Are they fucking kidding? Now they’ve given up on stock replicas (like the 2.5=2.5 downpipes for the b7 RS4 and the 2.36=2.36 catback for the B7 Rs4) and they’re going SMALLER than stock.

Incredible

in the pic below from the first page it looks like the O2 bung is in one of the primaries, hard to tell on my phone. it also appears that there is one in the collector like the more recent picture, so maybe it was for testing

ahh, gotcha. I’d never notice something like that obviously.

This is a tough site lol

Thanks beemercer, that is what I was trying to convey. Having the primary o2 sensors in a single primary is not very smart tuning wise based off a car that is heavily dependent on their wideband o2 sensor readings. Even though measuring the o2 readings in the entire bank does not give precise measurements as to what each individual cylinder is doing, it does give much more accurate data than measuring a single bank and basing AFR calculations for the rest of the cylinders off of that. What if that single cylinder goes rich but the rest are fine and the system pulls fuel causing the rest of the cylinders to go lean? Obviously the knock sensors will help protect the motor on the other cylinders from melting down but the computer will not be able to accuractly adjust fuel based on single primary o2 sensor readings.
