I didn’t agree with you. What I said (this will be the third time I say it) is that perfect vs. decent are only 1 or 2 tenths apart. His car might have been good for a 10.75 or something. No big deal vs. his 10.99.
Further, his car was trapping in the mid 130s. Getting it right with a car trapping that high is a different story to someone with K04s who might trap 115-120. A car trapping 130+ is making probably 650-700 hp and it’s a wild beast. Fortunately, nobody we’re talking about at street-race-wars is in that league, and if someone is, it’s 1 out of 15.
Again…decent vs. perfect isn’t a big deal on ET, and is almost nothing on MPH. The guys that have B5s who say the dragstrip is so hard are guys who are making an excuse for sucking, or are trying to build one in.

im not very good at it, i think at best i may be decent. ill bet mistro or u sak could get a better time in my car but as u said its only a few tenths. its so much fun though.
when i get my car finished in the spring id like to meet u guys at the track and we should all do a number of pulls in my car and compare our individual times. i think that would be fun and interesting.

Nice car mileman, out of curiosity…how does one go from stage 3 minus B5S4 to C7 S6? That is quite a jump, I know I’d need to hit the lottery.
Drive my car every day. F4Hs. Stock injectors and fuel pump. Money in the bank. Assembled in my garage. Clearly, I’m not worthy. I’ll have a damn good time at S4RW this upcoming year and every year after. You guys are still invited and I still think you’d be surprised at the quality of the event.
When I graduated from university and started my careers I got tired of continuously tinkering with the B5 so I put it up for sale. Around the same time I fell into some health issues. So I said, hell I may not be here in a few months to enjoy the money in the bank so I went out and got this. Now that I’m past the severe health issues I may downsize to a manual B8, but for now I’m still enjoying the S6.
