When you guys buy these guns and ammo is it with this fantasy in mind of killing people, as that video seems to intimate ? Serious question. That video seems to be trying to terrify people I to needing those bullets.

So in my brief history of gun ownership, I’ve always used a boresnake to clean the bore of my rifle (and pistol). I usually run it through the bore a few times (spraying some CLP)

Today I finally tried using cleaning rods + brushes + cleaning patches, and man… Boresnake doesn’t clean very well at all…

Ran a patch with Hoppes #9 bore cleaner, let sit for a while, put brush attachment onto the cleaning rod and brushed away, and below was the first patch I ran through the barrel of my SCAR 17S:

Ran a few more patches until it came out clean and followed up with a patch with some oil. Much better.

I use Hoppes #9 and the same method you just tried. Works great. Just make sure you have lots of ventilation/fresh air when cleaning. That stuff is potent.

My pistol, SA XD9 SC. Easy to shoot, carry and very comfortable. The laser/light is awesome imo.

I also have an AR15 and a Mossberg 500 Tactical Breacher (Pistol grip currently, also have shoulder stock). Photos to follow for the last two.

More ammo than I need.
