Welp… car is sitting once again (maybe for a week)… Had to order a coolant hose yesterday, and apparently no dealership in the entire US has this part. I’d suggest ordering it if you think you may have a need for one later.

more parts arrived today… and I have facelift wheels to decide what to do with ($900 for 5 with tires; 4 Lionhart performance tires, and one continental)… maybe have them powder coated black? or just resell them and get a different size wheel? trade? hard part is finding another 5 wheel set I guess. Guy I got the wheels from had S7 wheels on his S6 and it looked so nice… now I kinda want spacers or just a wider set of wheels maybe.

Okay, so there are some updates…
CF Rear Center Console, Fuse Box Covers, and B Pillars installed… I forgot the lower grills at home so they’ll have to wait until the CF OEM RS6 grill shows up… I think that’s about it until the JHM catback exhaust is completed/on the way… Need to order new gaskets for intake spacer kit, etc… Then tune, etc, etc, etc…

Oh yeah… the carbon fiber door blades too… but you can see that in the first picture lol…
really, really nice! The only color I think this stuff would look better on is the blue - carbon just pops off blue really well, but man your car is looking great!
Was the center console hard to pull or did your mechanic do it? I’ve got a busted seat heater switch that I need to fix…
Mechanic installed everything for me, so I really don’t know…

Are you going to add the CF mirrors (ECS tuning sells a set for $299) as I think that’d complete the exterior nicely? I’m considering them with my car which is white/black wheels…
The grill I found by accident one day. Best bet would be to take the part# (in the original comment) and search www.ebay.de and then google… it’ll most likely pull sites that are in German or somewhere else in Europe. Not sure it’ll be easy to find again, but you can always order it I think. It just may take a long time. The mirrors, I was considering, but I think I may just wait on that for now since I still have the normal window trim, normal badge in rear, etc… we’ll see… i’m trying to curtail my carbon obsession lol…
Also, my JHM exhaust showed up today… I don’t know why I didn’t realize the box would be so f*ckin’ heavy before I had it shipped to the office lol… The box is just barely too large to fit into the car, so I guess I’ll just have to pad my entire trunk space to get it from here to the shop. Hopefully will have it all on by end of the day tomorrow.

Question for those of you that bought an aftermarket exhaust… what did you do with your stock exhaust system? It’s definitely not as convenient… too wide to put inside a car and maybe also too long… maybe i need to take it to a shop to have it separated? Don’t think there’s much of an aftermarket for stock S6 exhausts and may be best to keep it (JIC).
I plan on keeping as many stock parts as I can - My cars always get returned to as “stock” as possible and all the bolt on goodies get sold in forums. Proceeds almost always go towards funds for the next car’s goodies.
My mechanic has a ridiculous amount of storage, He’s already got a pretty good stock of S6 parts going on my car lol. Stock stuff that comes off goes back into inventory. lol
finally had a listen on some good speakers; sounds…beefier than the Milltek recordings I’ve heard and very very happy it’s not even close to raspy! How’s it sound cold before the cats warm up? Usually that’s where most caback rasp is; before there’s a flame front in the cats to muffle the rasp.

Yeah, no rasp at all… no drone… sounds like quality… Sounds sexy on cold start. I have a video, but I can’t get it to blur my tags and face properly so I’ll just have to do another one tomorrow morning I guess.
