Did you get into the led assembly at all when you swapped them? I have one led out on the passenger side. I know I can replace the whole assembly, but since it’s one bulb wasn’t sure if it can be cracked open :

Yeah, I had to buy an entire driver’s side DRL to fix that problem. It was aggravating my OCD every time I’d walk away from the car, and even moreso when I got the car coded to run DRLs with headlights. It was like $175 incl shipping on ebay. You can find plenty with a part# search on ebay.com or ebay.de. Spoke with dealership and couple shops prior and they said replacement of the entire assembly is the only option.
Good news on the price - will check eBay. Thx! Yeah, I disabled euro mode with drl/hids to avoid seeing the broken light. It only happens for me (one led out) when hids and drl are on at the same time; e.g. when locking the car and then enabling euro mode - very ocd annoying.
Yep that’s the exact same problem I had. I had mechanic try cleaning all of the contacts, etc, but nothing worked, so I had him go ahead and replace the whole assembly.

The dash looks awesome, was it just the black facing or did this include the leather stitched surround too? Either way it’s fantastic

It was just the piano black dash (I don’t feel like looking for the part number now, but it should be back in the thread somewhere), and the replacement headlight switch with the metallic/chrome trim. The leather stitched surround was just a standard part of the car I think.

Nice, you’re fortunate that you got one with the option of leather dash, mine is standard plastic…although there is on '08 dash on eBay with leather stitching for $500. I’d love to add it but I’m about to do $3-4k in maintenance/JHM upgrades…!

I know you are going heavy on the carbon fiber theme which I am partial too, my. Cayenne was speced that way from the factory, no cf door sills or blades tho. How was the install of the piano black dash?
Also, how do you think the piano black Rs6 console, and other trim pieces would look with the oem colored dash? Again, always been a fan of CF, but curious how more of a piano black theme would look on other cars. Possibly too much black and not enough separation with something like CF or even aluminum.
Anyhow, love the build. Any more updates to share? Sounds like you have been tracking it a bit and have added a few more things here or there
Wow, yeah didn’t realize there were other dash option. No wonder everyone was complaining I just got lucky I guess with my dash already being leather with the carbon fiber trim.

The dash install took the shop like an hour I think. Not 100% sure since I don’t have the receipt in front of me. I think the piano black theme would work great, but harder to find I guess. Maybe not too hard to find on ebay.de or ordering from Audi direct. I’ll see if I can find a picture of a car with the full piano black interior. No new updates yet. Track time towards the end of the month with ACNA so there will most likely be more pictures (and maybe video) then.

They said I’m too fast for the novice group so they’re moving me up at the next event apparently. We’ll see when we get there… It was nice though. Only got up to 125-130 on the main straight, but room/traffic and lack of experience on that track were a factor of course.
