What do you mean by “Fireball claims an 11.9”

Here is the link to my run. Mix of 100 and 93 running on 100 file (I know I should’ve stayed on 93 tune, but wanted to see what this beast was capable of). Please also note this run was without a DSG tune.

I listened to your videos with headphones. Your car is definitely spinning a bit, but it’s not bad at all. It’s the good spin…just a little and off you go. On one of the vids (can’t remember which one, and the numbers on teh clocks weren’t very clear so I can’t tell you what you ran) you can hear your car change to 2nd gear real quick. That’s more of a bummer than anything.

Anyway though, on those three vids, you’re just spinning a bit. Not terrible. Watch my car here…you can hear it spinning at the start. Not a run killer.

This is annoyingly true. The end results are more possible spinning. That’s why I suggested for sky to do a tire clean launch.

Is it just me, or did your revo tune + pulley s5 on race gas just run 11.98 @ 113.5…exactly like skywagon?

This was a test run without the DSG file using the 100 octane map. Ask away if you have any questions brother.

What’s the difference? You both ran almost the exact same time yes?

Sure you may have different mods. You have a good open intake, tune pulley. Basically that’s all that makes power on these cars.

The headers and catback on skywagons car are not delivering much delta as we have seen from the others who have run with/without exhaust.

I have no exhaust, cooling or weight reduction mods…

The difference is at the DSG tune… a few members at AZ (IIRC) gained .2 — .3 seconds from the DGS tune. I am sure I will be in 11s on 93 octane.

Yes we did run the same time, yes we all know by now headers and cat-backs are worthless. I am not arguing here with you man, you gotta realize even though we have similar mods, I was not on 100% race fuel nor had my DSG tune.

Hey man I get it. To be honest I don’t read AZ anymore. All the real gear heads are here. So I have honestly never seen one post other then what you posted here.

You just say sakimano me and I’m sure a few others not know what the deal is with you and your car. Make a thread and set the record straight. I don’t think people are hating revo they just want to see Skywagon do well. AZ is hate and bandwagon fake posts. AR is proof or poof your gone. If you want to set the record right you will find a different conversation here. I’m open to hear. As a bystander to me it looks like everyone’s revo results are a little behind. If you have something different to share please do.

Thanks and understand. Hopefully in the next few weeks will get back to track and do some logging with race gas and use my go-pro too. Ordering some Sunoco 104 Octane. Revo is looking at the logs and hopefully this thread as well. Have to give them a chance to figure it out? If not…GIAC may be in my future? Lucky me, I may be the first to have owned all three tunes for one car…GOOD GRIEF!!!

No dsg tune is definitely hurting you. Cooling is debatable depending on the DA.

Well, it appears the gents at REVO have done all they are going to do for me. I sent them the logs I did and they also have their logs from the dyno runs. I asked about the short shifting and slow trap speeds and their only response was to tell me to change out wheels and tires. I was thinking about asking for another flash on the DSG but I guess they have exhausted all technical expectations?. GIAC?

In other news, some guy on AZ with a 2015 DSG ran a 12.08@113.8 on pump gas APR stg 2 with nothing more than exhaust and intake.
