Sneak peak..

Great reply!!! Those courses sound absolutely amazing, I would love to give them a shot as well, kind of a closet dream on mine too.

I wish you nothing but the best on the project, you took your time and put the right hardware in place, just gotta make it all come together.

Thanks so much! Right now i’m out of work, well, more like I don’t want any jobs that are on the table right now, and with my wedding in July, I figured it was the perfect time to bang out these courses. Who knows, I may be a tuning wiz and not know it. The audi world needs a good freelance standalone tuner not tied to one system. I would love to tune for a living! It’s far fetched, but at least I’ll take the courses.

justin incredibly impressive.

I know a long list of motec friendly domestic tuners. If you end up not happy let me know. Im really excited to see your car get running. This looks like a real gear head project. I don’t care how hardcore domestic you are this is a sharp build.

thanks for the update

Thanks a lot everyone, tuesday it’s going to the chassis shop for the caage and stuff.
I’ll update again asap…

The rear end fabrication is second to none… Its nice to see someone that is into getting a B5 to work on the track… Motec is the best period standalone… I wanna see 8s out of this project and 150mph traps

Thanks a lot, the rear we first did the way Chris from USP had his made, but we werent in love with the looks or the strength over time. That’s why we went with the moly tube design from scratch, it’s a much nicer fit and finish, it will have tubes coming off it around to the front to brace it there as well and a tied in loop as well.

I want to give props to a few people who have helped A LOT!

First and foremost, Javad from 034. I deal solely with him on every little order I make. He makes me custom parts (solid aluminum mounts), anything I ask for pretty much… Always great prices as well, and a good guy to talk to.
Frank from the driveshaft shop, put a ton of work and time into my axles and driveshaft,
Ed at force fed engineering for the manifold, downpipe modification, charge pipe welding, etc… All TOP notch fab work.
Chris and Mike at C&M Performance in Queens, always got my back. Chris and his cage guy are handling the chassis work as we speak.
Tony Palo, Shane, Carl Stevens Jr. Lugtronic (despite the differences and parting) helped a lot too, Precision Turbo, long time friend Clay at CTS with the hookup on the turbo, Arnold at PAG who takes care of the queens people, Joel James at Glacial Plains Coop, G at wired by G for help and advice, and so on. I will have a lot more to thank all these guys for over the next month or two.
Stay tuned, chassis updates to come!

Thank you guys for the support and kind words, its nice to be appreciated, it keeps my head in a project that is so deep and detailed. I do this for the love of building fast cars, driving fast cars, and the appreciation.

you certainly have my appreciation.
I’m gonna have to make time to go and see you run this thing when the time comes.

Great work. Im in awe.

Man that looks sick, great work! Would you build another dill mount and support? I want a skyline rear diff in mine

Ive literally had 5-8 people ask me already. My friend made this one, it isn’t even done yet. We’ll be running tube off of that brace that will connect to the front mounting points on the diff housing, then connect to the factory driveshaft loop location, with a tied in SFI driveshaft loop. I can ask him when we’re done, but honestly, that bracket you see there has about 8+ hours into it. Granted it was a first shot, and if reproduced he could jig it and make them faster. But I still think it would take at least 4-5 hours to make, plus the material and stuff. He would have to charge quite a bit to make any sort of worth wild profit. But, I’ll ask him and see what he says… Last time I asked, he looked at me like it was way too much work to re make. Alternatively, I have an 034 bracket modified and welded just like USP’s. Some trimming of the diff housing is still required, but not too bad. We didn’t love the idea of that, or the look though for this project that had so much detail into it already. Id probably be willing to sell it.

Hey Justin it was nice meeting you in person.

Likewise bro. I definitely didn’t expect to know know anyone, and If I did I would have guessed a fellow racer from years back, not a fellow audi guy. I was a little disappointed in that class, at least the part I stayed awake for lol. But I guess its a prerequisite of sorts for the advanced class Im taking in July. Then I’ll schedule a Motec/AIM class. Hopefully I’ll see you again at the track in the future.
