Sneak peak..

fuck man that looks great. I have built several TT LS kits. There great turbo motors when you mess with them. Looks awesom man great work.

Getting closer I guess, slowly…

Got some harnessing being started, but a lot to go. I have a feeling one or two weeks there is going to be a lot getting done. I’ve been sick Abd busy so no production really:

I hate looking at the pile of parts I have sitting here and I need it in the car ASAP.

man, very sexy looking. That twin scroll with twin blowoff valves just looks killer, and all b/c of how clean it is!

Just asking a newb question. I see a lot of these big builds with intakes like that, but how do you run no filter like that? And I guess same question goes to open ITB setups. You just taking the risk nothing but pure air is coming in?

Haha I lold… Great build looking forward to more updates.

lmao nice

Yea basically just taking a risk. That would be the track setup, so the chances of a rock or something like that flying into my headlight are pretty slim. On the street I would have a screen over the inlet for sure.

LOLOL

Things are moving along, the manifold, DP and dumps are done:

The rear is fitted, we mounted it the same way USP mounted it, but cutting and re-welding the 034 carrier. We are also making a whole new carrier from chromoly tube, all custom, cleaner, and stronger. It should be nice, if not, we can go back to the 034 carrier worst case:

I am going with a new tuner. I have been in touch with Shane Tecklenburg for a bit now. Shane offered to tune my car remotely, so I think I am going to give him a shot at it. Should be fun, something different for both of us. It won’t be his run of the mill 1500+whp supra or gallardo turbo, and for me, I will get to see a tuning icon at work first hand. I’m excited… For those that aren’t familiar with Shane T., he owns FAST motorsports. He is the premier MoTeC tuner in the world pretty much, worked at MoTeC at 24 years old as a tech advisor, and teaches tuning with EFI university. He opened up his own company at around 31-32 years old and has been tuning since. His resume is retarded to say the least, It’s the who’s who in the Go Fast world. He tunes all of Titan’s cars, all the UR TT Lambos running MoTeC, the E.Kanoo IRS and tube chassis supras, Carl Steven Jr’s 10.5 nissan 350z (first 10.5 in the 6’s), and so on and so on… From boats, to bikes, drag cars to Texas Mile cars… The man is a tuning god, and I can’t wait to see him at work on my car hopefully. MY wiring loom is being handled by Greg Pyles, also known as G from tunedbyG.com. G is also a former MoTeC employee where he ran the wiring department. I basically fell into it with these big wigs out of luck. I was having issues with my tuner not responding to emails, so I picked the most famous, high profile tuner in the world to email and see his response time to compare, just for shits and giggles. I emailed Shane, and he emailed me back a very detailed email in under an hour… I started to bullshit with him , and here we are today. My old tuner, I sent 3 emails in 8 days, and didn’t get one response, Shane I emailed tonight to ask him a question, he told me he was going to the TX mile for the weekend, so I didn’t expect a response until monday at least. I got a response from his blackberry 24 minutes later… I thought maybe the delayed email response thing, was a busy tuner habit, but if Shane can get back to me every time pretty fast, then nobody else in the industry has any excuses. I told Shane though, Im not looking for dyne numbers, no 1200whp here, I just want decent power with a nice curve and efficiently use the boost. He said it shouldn’t be a problem. I’ll post up as I move on with Shane and we get closer to tuning, and then the actual tune.

nice development, hopefully their work is the icing on the cake

awesome! keep the updates coming.

Wow it is looking good, everything seems to be coming together nicely

Thanks guys! Needless to say, this winter was a whole lot more expensive than I thought it was going to be, a whole lot more expensive!! I will update asap!

any guesses on dyno power? Any goal for trap speed?

Wow, I haven’t been on here lately. Amazing progress, amazing choice for a tuner

Well from the looks of it. its money well spent. I for one enjoy what your doing and I applaud you for doing it and thank you for sharing it. This is nothing short of great work and its very impressive.

Lol.

Thanks guys! As for power or trap, we’ll have to see… I chose my gearing so that I am at about 152mph at 8000rpm in 4th gear on 26" tires… I’m going to let my tuner go with it, I’m not going to give him expectations besides a clean curve and good consistent power. I’m a track guy, so I dont really care about dyno numbers.

Here is the rear mounting we did with the skyline gtr r200. there will be more going to the front soon with a driveshaft loop tied in.

Very nice, I like the tube mount for the diff. What happened with the Vi-PEC you were running last year? I was considering it for my build at one time.

I didnt love vipec, I didnt like the results so much, and I didnt like that not a lot of tuners know the software. I decided to run motec after going back and forth a bunch of times. I ended up bailing on my tuner because of his lack of customer service and business etiquette, and that was the final straw. He is the one who suggested vipec, got it for me, and tuned it. I decided that if you can afford it, you CANT go wrong with the motec MX00 series. Motec just works, it’s track record speaks for itself. Also, Motec opens the door to utilize almost every good tuner. If you are a respectable tuner, you have to know motec.
With that said, I am taking EFI 101 in Atlanta in May, then Advanced EFI in New York about an hour away in the end of July, then not set in stone yet, but i am highly considering topping those two classes off with a private MoTeC and AEM combined class at EFI university in Temecula CA. From my understanding, after these three very intensive classes, I should have a pretty good grasp of tuning, setting up base maps, including Motec and AEM in some pretty good detail. I am excited, I have my car to play with after I take the classes, and I would like to tune on the side eventually at least. It’s kind of a dream of mine that I decided to pursue somewhat, without devoting my whole life to it.
