[SOLVED?] P0023 - “B” Camshaft Position - Actuator Circuit/Open Bank 2

Got a long T20 but it’s both too short and too long at the same time.

Is there an easy way to remove the exhaust cam solenoid? Or do I have to move the ac and/or the abs lines?

I can’t quite tell, but is it possible that the T20 bolt has a lock “dot” and requires a wrench with a “hollow” tip?

[solved?]

It’s been a full tank of gas, and I’m no longer getting the P0023 codes. It could be the warmer weather, but maybe not.

The one thing that did change, was that I noticed:

  1. the electrical harness for Bank2 was loose––the zip tie mount that is above the Bank2 exhaust cam solenoid was broken, and
  2. also the ECU2 on the other side was also bouncing around.

After my failed attempt to swap out the cam solenoid, I used new zip ties to secure the harness on both ends. Could it be that this was the cause of the phantom faults?
