ST Coilovers for any B5/B6/B7 application $750 SHIPPED

If anyone is looking for coilovers, I can offer you ST Coilovers for ANY B5/B6/B7 Application for $750 SHIPPED. Please PM me for availability. Pricing and availability may vary for other platforms, please PM me with questions.

I also carry the full line of KW, H&R, Bilstein, Eibach, Tein, etc.

For anyone who is wondering about using the ST coils on the S4, you can use the ones for the 3.2 B7 A4. There is only a 75lb weight difference between that and the B7 S4, so all will work just fine.

The ST coils are the KW V1 but they have a galvanized steel body instead of stainless. Valving and springs are identical to the V1

Thanks Joe. You are right, they are exactley the same thing minues the stainless lining. I have them on my mk6 GTI and they are fantastic, only slightly stiffer than stock but where my stock suspension would crash over bumps, these are much more forgiving. The ride overal is much much better. My girlfriend was even pleased with them.

You have email now too!

Looking for an option to drop 1-1.5". Going to set and forget stiffness likely, as we don’t get snow and I don’t track the vehicle.

Was mainly considering shocks/springs, and perhaps a new rear bar. The car handles well enough for what I do (spirited street driving, canyon carving), I’m mainly just looking for a slightly lower, mildly stiffer ride that’s still forgiving over bumps. However, 750$ shipped isn’t much more than springs/shocks/rear sway, it just doesn’t have said sway bar.

How would this kit work for me, versus a KW V1 versus whatever brand (Tein, H&R, etc.) springs and shocks? The shocks on here are set stiffness (I believe?) and height is adjustable, instead of set height and adjustable damping with a spring/shock combo.

B6 S4 95000 miles young.

if you dont want ride adjustments, then these would be perfect for you. they are kw v1’s (exactly) minus the Inox stainles lining. They are galvanized just like your average H&R or Bilstein coilover is. They have great range in terms of height adjustment. On my GTI i have them close to stock for everyday driving but i have messed around a bit and tucked my 17’s. again, they are not some el cheapo brand, they are made by KW, exactly like KW v1’s just without the Inox. They ride great, if stock stiffness is 5 out of 1-10, these are a 6.5.

anything for my jeep? lol

regarding the galvanized vs stainless, all I’d do is spray some WD-40 on them before the salt comes out and it should be good. Maybe goop some petroleum jelly on them.

Ordered mine from 91 just now. Ordered some of this to keep them looking good: http://www.esetuning.com/FK-Automotive-Coilover-Protection-Spray-p/fkgs01.htm

^time to change your sig (re H&R c/o’s)

I’m considering a set as well and have been emailing with D. I was going to have him do the install since I’m going to be in Jersey this weekend, but the timing didn’t quite workout. Now I’m considering doing it myself, but I’ve never done a suspension before. Would this be a tough install for someone that only has experience wrenching on engines and brakes? Any special tools needed?

Joe - you go with the ST’s or something else?

I’ll probably be interested in a set next week unless supply is short.

beem - thanks for pointing that out. Changed

BWT - I went with the ST’s for the B7 3.2 application

OP - what kind of warranty comes with the set-up?

According to the ST site:

Thanks.

Have you installed your coilovers yet? If so, i’d love to know how the ride is…

you get yours installed joe?

Yea Joe, hurry up and post a review!

Waiting on some stuff to come in to do everything all at once. (brake lines, new bearings, new rear spring pads, caliper paint, brake fluid, and some other goodies)

I’m replacing every single wearable part related to the brakes and suspension. Even rebuilding my calipers - which I will make a DIY for. I’ll make a big thread for everything next week, similar to the one I made last spring

They sure are pwiddy
