thats a great event going 10s like that. It is nice to see the stage 3 kits putting down numbers that make it top dog but the questions follow. Last time we were here parts were removed different pulleys were installed and the list goes on.
Also Im not sure the 124mph is enough at this point. Last year when guys were going 118 or less that might have made sense not sure now if this is as impressive as it needs to be with the results from the two pulley cars going 123.
If this is just the beggining of the kit this could be something. If this is closer to all the kit has in it things might not get to where they need to be to make a real impact.
For now and for what it is. Great results. while the car might not have a huge mph a 10 second pass is really what its all about. The alternitive could be going 127mph and barely getting out of the 12s like the b5 guys LOL. This shows the B8 has a real power curve and that puts out real results.

the time frankly doesn’t make any sense so it will be interesting to see a video that hopefully shows the car without a bunch of edits to the video.
Yeah, post the fucking full slip and information already… This whole teasing shit is for the birds… When I run I post the same day, these people just care about making a big publicity campaign out of it so they can sell their inventory… just fucking post the details… Rant over… lol

fastest 5 B8 S4 time on our list (from 3 different DSG cars) averaged out to 11.50 @ 120.72
generally we see cars pick up a tenth when they add an MPH
this car beat the top 5 average by 6 full tenths, and added only 3.5 MPH
Seems odd. Then they post a postage stamp section of the timeslip…that’s really odd isn’t it? Wonder why they’d do that. Better question…what reason could they have to do that?
a) non-certified track
b) something funky in the timeslip that will show us if they ran slicks
c) for fun?
All around, I’m looking forward to seeing the full slip and a video. I really don’t think we should be shocked by an excellent result. As I’ve said recently I fully believe primetime and the other fast cars, when they’re pushing the TVSr1320 with 2 pulleys (1 SC pulley and 1 overdrive crank pulley) and have a tune for the extra boost, are going to run 11.2-11.3 @ 122-123 or so. Adding a $10,000 stage 3 kit to that had better add some delta . Considering they trapped 124, that is pretty disappointing (as was the APR hail mary result earlier in teh year). The ET on the other hand is right where you’d think a stage 3 kit on race gas would be. But how they made that ET with that MPH doesn’t add up.
Well still no slip/writeup by EC… Wonder what the hold up is? Did they send the slip to their people in Oregon like the 11.3 stage II guy? We’re still waiting on that one aren’t we?
All kidding aside, how the fuck do they tease this over the weekend and not make a post by this time today? Also, like Saki said why post a snipet of the timeslip… I want to see the 60, 330, 1/8, 1/8mph, 1000ft etc. I also want to see the time and track to get DA and such… Video proof of this record run would be nice also… Personally, I think 10.9 at 124 is doable but it’s going to take a very nice front half of the track and a decent back half. With that trap they had to have 7.0x - 7.1x 1/8th…
SHOW THE FUCKING SLIP ALREADY!!!
The whole thing is completely fucked. I have a hard time even reading those threads (a lot like the “which tune should I buy” posts on the FB group, and the majority of the responses are EPL, Malone tuning, Revo, and Unitronic… poor people). That shit literally makes me want to slam my head into my desk… repeatedly.
Like you guys, it is completely impossible for me to understand why they can’t just make semi-coherent post that covers the performance of the kit. Give me a couple 1/4-mile times of the kit on 93 and race gas. Tell us what’s on the car, where/when it ran, and that’s all I need. If they want to do dynos or whatever too, great, just make sure it’s on the same car, dyno, mods, etc. Posting 10% of a time slip is more of a slap in the face than anything. Especially one where the time/mph doesn’t make complete sense.
Let’s not forget this is the same company who back in 2011 ran their car at some euro tuner shootout… They ran some low 12’s at 113-115mph, very respectable at the time, and some weird outlier slip that showed a 12.5 at 120.xx. When asked which one to post they put the bs outlier 120.xx trap pass, even though they had et’s that were several tenths better… Why? Because they’re scammers and were telling everyone it was the headers even though I proved that theory wrong when I raced imolas gutted car…
I guess in the end it doesn’t matter because people will buy regardless but I just wonder what goes through some of these dudes heads? ???
