truthfully its hard to tell but that apr logo at the top may even just be a sticker, its hard to see it though

But they did what you said they wouldn’t do, they redesigned the manifold and it still has Apr on it.

So I watched those videos last night at home a few times since I was only able to see them on my phone… Those cars really don’t seem that fast. Look at the 2nd race in the first video the car short shifts as soon as he hits it and it’s almost like the other car waits for it… Staged?
I just hope someone takes one of these to the strip and sees what it can do…

I did find it interesting that the silver car is running the built motor. First time I’ve seen one running in the wild.
Sure if it’s true? Not saying it isn’t but this whole crew is shady IMO… I’ll have to re-read the EC thread to see what they did to it, the motor that is…
I’m kind of seeing this whole stg 3 saga as another way for EC to make lots of money. So they are kind of influencing the decisions/releases indirectly by be the forerunner on the “beta” program. Labor, built motor, good access to APR. Those built motors are 20k?

Have to be damn close to 20k, you get to 10k really quick, everything you start touching is at least 1k. Rods 1k, pistons, 1k+, labor 1k then if you start digging into the heads it goes up.
I thought the same, in the 12-13 seconds they are @ full throttle they should both be over 120mph and it sure doesn’t look that way. Not to mention it sounds like one car starts in a higher gear than the other- wouldn’t you want to start a roll race in a gear that has you about 4k rpms? Maybe I’m hearing/seeing things but that whole race appears goofy in more ways than one.
So Richi was kind enough to send me the logs from the dealer doing the install/working with Magnuson… I told this to Richi in email as well…
The logs were a joke… They only logged IAT’s and didn’t use turbo mode or group by. No boost values, no bypass values, no timing values, no airflow, etc. Sure the IAT’s look good but w/o any other data you can’t draw any conclusions…
As I’ve stated a few times, I want this to work as I’ll buy it so I’m not someone just stirring the pot… However, at this point between the hokey street races and these logs I don’t think we’ve learned anything… Other than drag strip passes a race between Pete’s dads car and Richi is needed…

Whaaaat? That’s pretty wild… How hard is it to log, and why would they not want to log the necessary things? Makes you wonder if they A) know what they are doing, or B) really want to see the truth.
