Hawks really let that one slip away last night with St. Louis scoring with 1:30 left in the 3rd. They looked horrible in OT. Fuck.

agreed. Happened in the OHL playoffs when the two best teams (London and Guelph) faced eliminating each other in the 1st round (Guelph won very comfortably).

Another great Hawks/Blues game last night. 3 out of 4 games going to OT - deja vu from last year’s playoffs.

100% spot on Detroit was very sad. The crowd were so pumped up but the team just couldn’t string anything together. We didn’t even get to see the Bruins play well because they won at a canter.
I was lucky enough to see my team (Sharks) in the playoffs albeit in Detroit. We lost 
but won the series eventually. I’ll be in Bay Area for a week from May 31st… hopefully we’ll still be in it and I can get to the Shark Tank for a playoff game. I think that’ll be round about the end of the conference finals.
In other series, it looked pretty electric in Columbus last night!
Hawks aren’t going anywhere if Quenneville remains stubborn and keeps playing Bollig and Handzus. We have Morin, Regin and Nordstrom.
Handzus is a boat anchor and slows down every line he is on. Yeah he has played the PK well this series but why should the hawks take those stupid penalties to begin with? Dumb penalties. Q had Zus on the second line for a ton of the season and the start of these playoffs and Kane was lost out there.
Bring in Ben Smith as the 2C who has some speed and magic happens. Every line Handzus is on suffers. He is a waste. Ben Smith can kill PKs. The Kane OT goal doesnt happen without Smith. Winning a draw, winning a puck battle and then skating rapidly up the ice to draw Shattenkirk away from Kane. Zus has never been able to make that play EVER
Dumb shit/penalties happen when you double shift guys that are tired instead of rolling out 4 lines. We roll 4 deep 4 lines and we won’t lose. It’s simple. Q is just stubborn and for some reason keeps the young guys on a REALLY short leash and Bollig and Zus are forgiven for every dumb mistake they make.
That Line of Zus, Versteeg and Bollig was the worst 4th line the hawks have had in years.
I would sit Bollig or Zus and let Morin play. That kid is tough and can skate/score.
Crawford also can’t let in those goals last night. All were saves he should have made.
Team has to tighten up. Stop with the dumb penalties and they have to fix our PP. Our PP is wearing clownshoes.
And how does Q get a $25k fine for grabbing his crotch and the goon Lucic get fined peanuts for repeatedly spearing guys crotches??
