They have let Kings get away with obstruction/interference all series. Why stop now? They have perfected clutch and grab timing to not get a call. Very Redwingesque.
With Bollig and Versteeg glued to the bench… and the double shifting … we will see more mistakes from fatigue.

yeah, that was a great matchup. The East frankly sucks in comparison. When the Penguins are out, that’s pretty much it. Boston are assholes, so who the fuck wants to see them win. Habs fans can’t shut their face, so heaven forbid they should win. Other playoff teams just aren’t as good frankly. Surprised NY made it through and they should get their asses whipped, but it’s hard to count a team out when they’re playing on emotion and have gelled wonderfully as they have.
Only thing that might help LA against that is the week long break NY will have had.

Wish they called series like last year’s cup. Refs swallowed whistle this last game and LA’s Clutch and grab style was in full effect.
Hawks gonna come back stronger. Handzus, Rozsival, Bollig and Versteeg do not belong on this roster. Hopefully all 4 won’t be back or get dumped to Rockford.

Rangers are a very good team. They are very fast and mobile and their team defense that Torts helped mold and build is very strong. I wouldn’t count them out so fast. Henrik is also playing lights out.
Quickie hasn’t really had a good playoffs aside from a few good games (.906 save % and 2.86 gaa) and is having trouble with rebound control. If Rags crowd the net and shoot high they should be successful against him. He seems to overplay puck a lot and slides around split style leaving top portions of net exposed.
Pens- suck. Gonna suck more if they continue to use Fleury the headcase and if Pierre Maguire takes over GM role.
Bruins- Chara is getting old. His slowness was exposed against the Canadiens. Guy is a warrior but to beat the Bruins… you get puck deep and expose their slow D.
Habs will be good next year after they dump some salary and pick up some good additions. Markov sucks. PK Subban is the man. They are young and fast and hungry. Carey Price is a stud too. They were gassed after Boston series and did the Rangers a favor.
Question: why is Mike Emrick not calling this series? Is NBC nuts? These commentators aren’t even in the same league.
