Stanley Cup 2014

I’m waiting for you guys to explain ‘SCORE’ to me

We suffered the NBC coverage for one period then switched to HNIC online

Perhaps this explains it? http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentence_word

dude, it’s like they’re new to hockey. No wonder Americans don’t watch.

During the regular season, American viewers could get the HNIC feed but I’m not sure how. The soccer coverage in the us is better than NHL coverage!

So I think a good rule of thumb is that a 2-0 deficit for LA ensures they will win. Happened twice against the Hawks (and a third time went into OT with the Hawks), and now twice in a row against NY. Unbelievable.

I thought they were done for sure after going down 4-2.

Hahahaha

Atleast the shirts even exist, unlike the Blackhawks who are playing golf

Yes bc 2 cups in what will be 5 years is a bad achievement. Bring out the brooms.

LOL.

I think they’ve done alright for themselves these past few years

yep. And Hawks will be in battle again next year. Team is locked up with solid core for years to come.

Rangers have a few important signings next year, all of them getting niiiiice raises. some of them are key depth players that helped get them there.

Only 13 players signed with $17.1 mill in cap space. no bueno.

Those Brad Richards and Rick Nash salaries will sting until 2018-19.

Richards, Brad »
$6,666,667

Nash, Rick »
$7,800,000

tsivas, only problem with your diagram is that

Richards will be bought out this summer under the old CB deal, so that’s not a relevant cap hit, and the guys you listed there are all very replaceable.

Don’t forget what Chicago did in the summar of 2010…or maybe you forgot that they traded/waived/let walk 50% of their Cup winning roster. Or did you forget that Chicago won with the help of

Byfuglien
Ladd
Eager
Sopel
Fraser
Versteeg

all of those guys were dumped a month later. These are the same blackhawks you guys aer saying are doing great, remember.

They don’t have Stan Bowman managing their cap. What he has done after the 2010 capocalypse and the new team he assembled is a product of scouting and proper cap management.

Can’t really compare the two teams as the Rangers don’t have Toews/Kane and also don’t have the core the Blackhawks have or had, nor do they have the prospects or guys in the Ahl the hawks had to replace the depth guys we let walk. (bickell, Kruger, shaw, saad, leddy, smith)

And you don’t lose guys like Zuccarello or Kreider.

The following year they have it even worse.

Never seen capgeek.com before - cool site, thanks!

Wish this wasn’t a blowout. Was hoping for a long series.

It’s not over yet, still some hockey to be played…

I’m sure LA is getting cocky and I’m sure the Rangers are getting some anger built inside.
Things might get interesting…
