i’ve always been taught (from basic training) not to loosen your boots after a long walk/hump/day of work because your legs will swell and make it harder to strap back on…not sure if thats relevant though.
i normally just lean back and let my boots hang (having the snowboard strapped to one foot is annoying when tired) or if i’m alone on a lift, i’ll put my boot on the seat next to me and let the other dangle.
