Twin GT35's on 4psi

It should be ready to fire up this weekend if I can figure out a base tune. The MaxxECU PRO came in today as well as the custom harness and I’ve pretty much buttoned up everything needed for a first start!

As far as internals go… I’m going to start looking for a shortblock to build lol. I was told 4psi should equate to around 650hp on this setup and don’t really plan on go any higher on stock internals. Gotta lose the 12.5:1 compression ratio if I plan to make more power AND stick to running 93oct.

Damn that’s a beautiful setup!
Manifold and spacers balance the look out

Chassis side came in today! Real nice Milspec cannon plugs that’ll bolt up to the factory firewall to easily disconnect the engine harness for servicing.

Also spec’d in a MaxxECU relay/fuse block and he even sourced and bench tested the throttle pedal connector to the throttle bodies.

2 power wires, 2 grounds, alternator wire, and canbus low/high is all that’s stopping me from firing up this ECU :grin:

Check him out if you get a chance @SRSMotorsport on Instagram. He has the 5.2 jig now for factory engine/ECU C6 S6’s

1:27 in you’ll see the TDC marks on block and crank pulley.

I don’t think there is this line on the block in S6’s engine. There is a hole in the crankshaft, in which a special tool is screwed in through upper oil pan, near crank sensor. It has a plug in it, similar to the one in the heads for one of the bolts. It’s shown at around 1:50 in the video above.

Entire car is wired in an I started setting up the ECU. Norbert will help me create a base file to get the car going and then he handing it off to me! I have a lot of knowledgeable people I can reach out to for this process so for that, I am thankful.

He asked that I see where the ignition timing currently is and will help me set up all the ignition parameters in the meantime.

Fueling is 100% done and I have the FPR at 3 bar to start off with. Very exciting!!!

Awesomeness

Car is idling beautifully with the brand new throttle bodies after I recalibrated them. Connected all the coolant lines so I can fill/bleed them tomorrow and hopefully get a solid base tune on it by the weekend.

Incredible!!
Can’t wait to see some launches!

Slow and steady. Lot of work to do on the tune. Really wish I had a local tuning guru that could sit in the passenger seat and just go on a drive with.

Got the coolant bled and the cold start idle/idle dialed in. Maybe one day I’ll make an actual video

Getting some break in miles on it. I’ve had this vibrant muffler in my shed for YEARS. Looks good, sounds great :+1:

Thanks bud! Car feels great and we’ve made great headway on the initial tune! I drove it to work today, and should be able to make some half throttle pulls on the way home for logging.

No radiator fan relay yet so I’m limited to like 15 minutes of driving off a cold start :sweat_smile:

Great stuff!
Nice that’s it’s up and running reliably.
My fans go on full blast only!

So. Went through a few revisions today with Norbert (harness builder). Did a few part throttle pulls. This one is at 34% throttle making 2.5psi with 12° of timing.

Absolutely mental how that tiny amount of boost makes this thing scoot. Sent the log off and at the time uploading this video got the all clear for a full throttle log to 7000rpm. Later this week should be fun.

Somehow managed to hit the 7psi boost cut on the 4psi springs…

But this ol’ girl is rowdy!!!

Timing is set at 12-13° so we should have plenty more to go!
