Updated Vbox list.....

That day I did like 13 or so passes, stock clutch was starting to slip bad towards the end. I had my winters on and the tire pressure around 38 or so all around, no spin for me. Others were having traction problems even running slower times.

you were launching at 4400 and NOT spinning? That’s weird.

Here’s a launch at just over 3000 RPMs in my RS4 which makes much less torque than your car. This was on rough pavement, so it’s tougher to spin them. As you can see its pretty easy.

Both launches the car spins all 4, then goes. If I were to launch at 4400 it would be much more spin…detrimentally so.

yep, I might have been on the clutch too long but the 60’s were getting better. Next time I go I’ll have to play with how fast I let off the clutch. I know that using the factory rev limiter I would bog a little if I just dumped it.

Try 3200-3400 first…I think you’ll like it.

Hell do it on a quiet street on your way home. Instantly off the clutch/full throttle at once.

this is your rs4 right? If I’m not mistaken we’re a bit heavier. Anyone else want to chime in?

no, I was referring to my experience in my friend’s B8 S4

p.s. same weight. RS4 3920 lbs. B8 S4 about the same in manual.

nah, it’s different surfaces, different tires, different temps. It’s tough to get everything right.

I’m still going to test his B8 out…see what works well.

No prob Ron. Sorry posting up stuff took so long. Been swamped.

In regards to lambo- Yeah same car. Don’t know what happened when they first ran. I was behind them and really it was difficult to see much after they started rolling. They started from lower speed (30-40 mph) IIRC - rest was far ahead.

They will be running again this time with some cameras on their respective vehicles.

Lambo def is fast. Has high 9s as 60-130 on our flat ass testing grounds. Guy just got the car. That gated shifter is a pita lol.

what happened is the driver can’t shift very quickly. You can see from richi and everyone’s runs that 0.3-0.4 seconds is normal. 0.5 is slow. Would like to see one of my own runs to measure shift times. Don’t have any files here.

Just for the record, that lambo would put buslengths on primetime…so I don’t quite understand how auditude’s dad is beating him. Is it his buddy? i.e. is he saying to the guy ‘let me win this pull so I can stick it to some guys who called me out’

I wish I could do the math to compare auditurd’s times to the lambo to show exactly how much distance the lambo would put on him. tsivas could do it, having the files.

from them starting at say 60mph, and running straight up to the lambo hitting 110-120 mph (top of 4th where you’d probably shut down a pull) I imagine the gap would be at least 7 tenths of a second which is HUGE. These cars are moving 150 feet per second for perspective. That car would trap around 120mph pretty easily based on the data above. It may have trouble launching (as all supercar owners seem to) but on a rolling run, he should MURDER the revo car.

Kai and Pete are not exactly friends and Kai won’t throw a race. If Pete somehow beat Kai I’d be shocked. The Lambo moves in it’s current state, can’t imagine what it will due once the heffner kit arrives. I’m still secretly hoping he goes UGR instead lol.

Kai was driving the lamborghini and lost to the revo tuned B8 S4, despite being a second quicker from 60-120? Is Kair a REVO dealer? lol. (just kidding…I think he’s an APR dealer)

This run was from 40mph to about 140mph i would say.

S4 was even with the Porsche until about 100 and the Gallardo was behind a car or so then the Porsche pulled hard up top probably about 4 cars while the Gallardo stayed around a car behind the S4. In the second video the Gallardo gets about a 1/2 car and the jump but the S4 stays right on the door…

It was very humid out, Vbox was on the 997TT and 60-130 were around 9.0 all night. My boy in the Gallardo just got the car (he’s still getting used to the car and the gated shifter). The Gallardo did a few runs with the 997TT as well and the Porsche pulled every time.
