Will be heading out tonight to do some Header Testing…
In about 54 degrees and -400 DA with the same exact mods minus headers but with 034 HFC’s the car went 11.91s 60-130.
Tonight will be around 48 degrees and -1200 DA so I’m hoping to see an improvement.
For reference my B8 which made 18psi vs. 14psi on my B8.5 ran 11.03s 60-130 in -1000 DA and on the same Shell 93.
Really curious about what you do with those headers…

Question: how can you be sure the mexican airstrip is perfectly level? Im doing my own testing and need to make sure its acceptable.

Is the main list saved somewhere? Want to compare my car to some of the ones on your list. You’ve got some rs4 times I think right?

Is that a JHM tune as well? Or any tune?
I’m surprised you go from 60-90 in less than 4 seconds but it takes 8+ seconds to get from 90-130. Is the 60-130 a 2 shift for the RS4? (Assuming you start in 3rd, just asking if you have to go to 5th)
No knocking, just surprised. I figured a modded rs4 would be a bit faster though since they do so well in every other regard. Guess it’s more of the gearing and area under the curve that make for such strong 1/4 info but not as much raw top end power.
It takes 2 and really 3 shifts potentially.
Rs4 taps out 4th at like 128mph. Also you want to start in 2nd if you’re a fast shifter. So really 3 shifts is best.
The 12.19 car had piggies and no tune. I believe he had no cat back either, just tubi mufflers (axle back). NY07RS4. I think it did pretty well, considering. His car in that form would probably have been able to run 12.50 @ 111 or so in great DA he ran that 60-130 at -2000 feet. Compare him to some of the other times up there from the b8 s4s and it looks slow…they’re sometimes running high 10s to low 11s 60-130 but don’t forget they’re doing so sometimes on race gas and with a pretty full modest…and the b8 is just flat out a fast fucking car! . Ny07rs4 is always on 93.
Last night my car went 12.77 60-130 on a nearly flat Road (dropped 6 feet over 2000feet of travel). Density altitude was -900 feet. Just catted jhm downpipes and jhm cat back. I started in 3rd as I wanted to compare with some runs I had done that way last year on the same road. I was 13.95 then, stock, in similar DA. In great DA (-2000) one night I went 13.75 stock.
For some perspective for you since you own one, a stock 996 turbo tip tested by car and driver when it was brand new in '01 went 0-60 in 4.2 and 0-130 in 17.6…thus 60-130 in 13.4
