I know there’s a huge thread on AZ about this, but piecing through it is a pain in the butt. I can’t find ones like where the DRLS/fogs stay on for a couple minutes when you lock and unlock the car. Where is there a good list for these? Might as well have it on here…
I thought the foglights coming on was the coming home feature and was turned on with a small rotating switch on the dash to the right of headlight switch?
LOL it might be… I remember someone vagcomming it for me when I first got my car though. I’ll run out to my car right now and find out!

I just coded my 02 A4 for fog lights on with the parking lights… I will do a short write up
Lmao so I’m an r-tard, coming home was off… I still think a proper b6a4 list would be cool though 
I wish my 02 had this feature! My mom’s previous B7’s had it and I LOVED it! Would it be hard to retrofit from a late model B6? Or is it simpler than I’m thinking it would be. Just get the switch and maybe the wiring is already there?
Also, I forget the specific code, but programming the windows to go up or down with the key fob is another one. Not really B6 specific, but it applies to the vagcom list.
you could probably make a switch setup if you dont mind non oem. you’d just need a switch and a relay assuming the fog lights have power all the time, which the later cars must have (ie non ignition switched 12v)
Since we are on the subject of VAG-COM.
What protocal do you use to do/talk to what.
I can get my generic VAG-COM to talk to the engine module using the KWP 2000 and it responds
by saying I have the 3.0 V6 30V and gives me the engine code AVK.
When I try to read the CEL codes it doesn’t seem to know what protocal to use and I get the
registration box to pop up over and over sometimes. Or it says it cant talk to the module.
(Registration box = The box that tells you the ROSS-TECH info about serial number and registration info.)
Does any one have the registration box popup problem with theirs?

FYI only 2002 A4’s can run independent foglights
you can mod the headlight switch on latter cars to get it to work

This is me being pretty damn lazy. Especially being at work haha. But how to you get it to be just fogs? I switched mine to rest of world, but that turns on the parking lights as well.

What ever module I try to access I get this message.
No matter what protocal I hard set it to or have it on auto.
This happens with several versions of the program.
Even 409.1 and 409.1s hacked or unhacked.
Any clues on how to fix this?
Did you register the software with ROSS-TECH? $100. Registration fee?

Yes, that does say Genuine ROSS-TECH.
on my B6 A4 1.8T avant, my car ran the fogs as the daytime running lights.
So just set your car to Canada lights and you’ll be laughing.
