Thanks. Car is currently back to stock. Busted my oil pan, burned up tq converter n had transmission leak all at same time as 75k maintenance was due. This all happened a year ago, so after spending 9k at dealer to get everything fixed on car my previous plans were shot. Now after a year plans have changed n gonna start modding car again. First off is a few diy mods like intake n clear.corners. Ordered a cupra r lip also. Then putting coilovers on after.new springs come in. going with 14k front 22k rear spring rates. Plan is for more of a fun daily that I can take into the hills n local road course.
Those Merk wheels are pretty damn clean. Love the stance. Just a FYI the stock intake is the best for the 3.0 check out the Zingo air box mod here in the threads, CAI will just rob your power. The only other intake mod you can get some are some intake spacers to cut the heat down on the manifold, JHM sells them for $100.
im doin zingo intake mod. only diff is im using a short ram arm to ditch stock arm n adding a afe filter
I too have looked at keeping the stock box, but using a ram air setup to get rid of the accordion tube. Is it possible to use a silicone elbow off of the throttle body instead of the bulky plastic piece?
I will find out soon. Ordered a cheap ebay short ram for parts. Dont see y.it wont work

Bc racing coilovers
well car is at bodyshop after having some deer play bumper cars with my doors
ouch, how does that even happen? Did you kill it? I hear that can make a car smell very bad which is very hard to get rid of.
naw had 2 deer run into driver side doors. was only traveling @15-20mph so wasnt too bad. dents are around bothe handles n mouldings n a few other random dents
Freinds 70’s FORD truck had a 8 or 10 point buck half total the truck and he was doing 10-15mph.
Another freind ran one over with his truck destroyed his front bumper and the deer got up and was like WTF.
Your speed means jack. If the deer is big and moving fast what ever it runs into is f-ed.
naw they were small. looked like does. plus was in a neiborhood n they werent running fast. they had just gotten outta someones front yard
I saw a biker hit a dead deer a few weeks ago. He was going about 70 and went from riding to sliding across the mass pike in the blink of an eye
took that thursday. should be picking it back up monday or tuesday

oh n ive been looking at pics of various engine bays. never knew earlier b6’s had all kinds of diff covers inside engine bay. gonna be ordering ones i dont have. i think it cleans engine bay up alot

finally got around to reinstalling my coilovers with the new springs. new setup is bc racing coilovers with swift springs 14k front 22k rear with shocks valved to match. ride height is set at 24.5" front 24.75" rear. also installed my cupra lip. blacked out my grills today will get pic later
