like others have stated… if you can cram more air into the motor as long as you don’t encounter knock and can keep the same timing you will make more power

I’m at the pool watching my girls lapping so I’m looking at the logs on the phone only. Without calculating pressure ratios, it looks like a lot of IM pressure, I still think GIAC went with a slightly smaller pulley. Has anyone put them side by side yet?

I see Tude’s and Jones’ logs both throw away power under 4000 rpm, bypass valve opening. It just looks like a conservative (badly interpolated?) calibration, I don’t see any reason for the power cut.

At 7000 rpm, the power limit is there again, sure, IM is getting well over 2200 hPa, but I still don’t see why that’s a big deal when temps are low and especially when we know stage III is on the horizon. I wish we had someone from AWE/GIAC explain why they are throwing it away.

You can see a knock event on Pete’s at 7000 and the fuel is dumped in and ignition cut pronto. Too bad we can’t see all cylinders. I hope APRs logging solution lets us log at least 20 parameters…

Again, didn’t calculate the lambda, but injection time on C16 is less than what I’ve seen before, and I’ll bet lambda maxes out at high 11s (when there was no knock). Would be interesting to compare to jones.

Spazz,

Give me all the fields you want me to log in an email and I will get you one.

ill send you Pete’s copy those

His groups will be different, mine is B8.5

Titles should be same

Ron,

I think it’s time to change your profile quote!!!
