That TTRS is barely modified. APR Stage 3 with supporting mods it will be in the 10’s on pump.

JHM’s best 1/4 mile run was 11.34@122.23 since I always consider the fastest time to be based off ET.

If a stock turbo TTRS ran at 122mph I don’t see any issues with it hitting 130mph with a bigger turbo. Especially because the APR Stage 3 kit will be making ~570whp on pump. T

Saki, That is my understanding but you never know IMO… Like I mentioned in another post now all of the sudden GIAC admits to having a E85 tune so anything is possible… He is now on a bigger turbo and seems to swap parts like most of us change underwear… As Pete pointed out some stage II cars have actually ran pretty well trapping low 120’s and running 11.3-11.6

Wow, I didn’t know the JHM record was a customer car, sorry about that… Is he/she on the board? I always thought that was their shop car so my bad, even more props to them… Personally, I just prefer customer results since they have less incentive to skew results, not suggesting any vendor would ever do that… lol

Anyway, it just seems impossible to get that much out of a 2.5 without some kind of octane help. Stock the car traps 110 on a great run. Getting 16 mph out of pump gas would be impressive with that APR setup. I don’t see it though. Pump + WM? Sure. But that’s not pump.

Prime is the GIAC e85 map for our platform or the RS4? I must’ve missed that post.

Doesn’t mention that they actually have an E85 tune though, he only mentions running E85/91 mix in race mode. I’m assuming he means the 100oct file.

I’m pretty sure E85 is not possible on any sort of big-power setup on the B8 until we get bigger injectors, HPFP, or fueling of some sort. This has been already confirmed by Arin and from logs I’ve seen and done, I just don’t see any more injection duration possible to accommodate 40% more fuel like with E85.

For that matter B8 stage III may also have problems with injector capacity, so we’ll see what the solution is when they release it…

I was wondering what Austin was talking about there with respect to flow. So what was he talking about? Can the injectors and pumps actually deliver enough E85 to allow you to run race parameters? He seemed to say he and 1fatsalesrep already are.

As for your injectors, are they terribly low capacity or something? The other FSI cars have been able to handle upgrades . The RS4 for example goes from NA 420 hp to 600 hp supercharged and the injectors are just fine. The pumps need upgrading eventually but no talk of injectors being touched. We have 8 of course but still…I would have thought B8 injectors are fine.

We’re already touching 7ms duration IIRC on stage II, so there’s not much more time to actually inject fuel…

I notice you are saying ‘blend’, that may make more sense than full e85, which is about 40% more flow than gasoline.

I quoted Austin. He said they run E85+91, while running the race file. However for that to work, you’d need to inject a ton of E85.

Apex, Like the others have said and linked it was the B8… And I actually commend them for it… what I don’t like is how it’s subtly dropped like it’s no big deal… I would be willing to bet 1fast had it when he went to the strip and of course doesn’t mention it… This is why I prefer times from average Joe’s not tuners and their workers which 1fast is no matter what anyone says…
