What a great present for us on Christmas day…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Lol “you don’t own X car so you can’t talk about it or be interested in it”

I don’t own an Audi. And look where I am.

Regarding the high price on the tunes…when I almost bought an MK6 GTI, I planned on getting APR tuned because of their reputation, and I can call anytime and get answers to questions. Sure, at the time the Unitronic cars were faster, but their reputation is shady at best when it comes to reliability. Would an email tune work for my Cobra? Sure, and it would only cost $200. But I paid $500 to have one of the best tuners in the country personally tune it and I might have made less power but the car drives great, and I could probably email him a question right now and have an answer by tomorrow.

Don’t assume APR’s cost is remotely near Engine Timebomb Garage
Get the point? It’s not a numbers game.

Saxon…your stupid, don’t know shit, and go fuck yourself.

Why does your dumbass assume that none of us work on our own cars or do our own maintenance. You should also be able to appreciate that “tuning” should be left to those with actual calibration experience, not kids in their parents basement.

How many pictures would you like me to post of my motor pull, head rebuild and timing chain job? or clutch job, or other 2nd gen DSM motors I’ve built. You aren’t here to stick up for companies or show other options, you have another agenda in my opinion. We give plenty of companies a chance on AR, but we don’t have room for bullshit…yours or theirs. EFTG is just pumping all of the idiots up to try and sell a few kits as quick as they can before they change their name again and go after another market.

i said part, a tune is intellectual and especially with your tune there is no parts or hardware involved for an end user

i guarantee you make more than that on your pulley tool and pulley though

You got called a retard because you either cant read or your rearted.

AMS has no experience in your part of the Audi market and so far they are not the fastest with teh tune they have…

I would be more then happy to call you a reaterd to your face. Ive built tuned and raced cars for plenty of years. I know you hide behind a key board but in real life I would say the same things to you and the people who don’t have a clue. You might get your internet big guy.

We make a butt load on the pulley when you take out the software, but it doesn’t do squat without software.

The pulley puller tools markup is lower then most products iirc. It’s mostly purchased by dealers anyways.

i would love for that scenario with this chassis…

so could someone buy your stage 2 software without a pulley and supply their own?

You may want to reserve judgement on this one, I’ve seen the numbers.

Sure! It’s the same price with or without pulley and new belt.

Good luck. Anyone worth a damn wouldn’t give it up for $500 a pop. If they did, they clearly didn’t spend much figuring out what they are changing (they don’t really know). That said, this car doesn’t run on one of those crappy engine management systems that requires custom tunes for each and every car.

according to my calculator, 400x = 40,000%

Maybe x was a variable for .001%?

You have? Cool. Post up the timeslip.

Right after you post an impressive headers timeslip that we’ve been waiting 2 years for.

;D

and I hope to fuck you don’t mean dyno numbers when you say numbers…

but Arin…Saxon is smart and used to own riced up shitboxes and everything he learned there translates here.

The headers that are on the two fastest recorded vbox runs?

Lol.

Vbox runs…awesome proof. Let me guess…60-130

Spend 3-500 on a sweet “custom” tune you have to redo everytime you change something on the car or a tad more for a proven tune that adapts to a certain extent… hmmm. The tune on my S4 worked great for all situations here at 5k+ feet of altitude all the way to sea level. The sweet “custom” tune on my eclipse would’ve grenaded if I drove cross country. Different ecus and different world. Took a while for me to wrap my head around as well but I didn’t insist on being a stubborn ass thinking I knew everything because I tinkered with LS motors and Mitsubishis. You’re not a pioneer or an innovator or seemingly intelligent in any aspect Saxon. Just another blowhard that will disappear when it comes time to eat crow.

a custom tune will adapt as well, it just allows for mods that allow more airflow (ex headers)

custom tunes also allow for meth injection to work properly and even program fail safes into the factory ecu

actually getting an apr tune next week to take advantage of the sale though as i just want to fit in with everyone else

I’d gladly call you a retard to your face and invite you to “knock me out” ;D
