I’ve driven my mate’s one of this generation of Boxster S. Absolute hoot of a car. If I were ever to own a car like this, I’d get one of these. Brilliant to drive.

If that thing runs and doesn’t need a new transmission, engine and brakes, that is awesome.

If I was a tiny man I would have one of those for a fun car for sure. Unfortunately with no backseat there is nowhere for me to recline so my head hits the roof. There is also no foot room for my size 12-13.

it’s not a big deal. he didn’t realise it was worth more

if you list a house at $300,000, and get 6 offers, two of which are over your asking price, you aren’t forced to sell it for $300,000 or risk reputational damage. Same thing here. He listed it at a low enough price that it attracted attention, got an offer, was set to sell, then got a boatload of other interest/offers. Until you’re in contract, you are just an internet post/email.

Anyway, I pick it up Thursday night. $5500!

He and I had a conversation on the phone and everything were he agreed to sell it to me for $5000. We were just trying to determine when I could come up to pick it up.

All good, not going to lose sleep over it either way.

I have no idea…but I am not that interested. I am getting some support on rennlist now…ppl claim the guy is an arrogant douche. All good…it would have been a good score but I am not going to lose sleep over it.

OK…finished detailing the rear of the 964…it is amazing what a little or a lot of compound will do to a car. I did not do a perfect job but compared to what I started with it is a big improvement.

At this point I have removed the side skirts and rear tail lights. I might stop the detailing at this point and take off the rear bumper and start investigating the oil leaks.
