Hummm wondering what’s that!
centrifuge!
Happy I was finally able to figure out how to upload pics! Had to show off my new found capabilities!
That’s a great thing to upload. Nice
Thanks. I am just a little late in the game with the ale photo stream concept. Finally, decided to get an account so I could share with the world. Sh*t, I have hundreds of photos from old builds…they just were a lot easier to upload…This is the first where I have had most work done by others. Don’t want to break this beauty.
That’s a pulley the size of a dinner plate.
While the other guys try to run the smallest pulley they can find that will still hold the belt, so they can max out the supercharger , the jhm kit needs a pulley so big people will think your crank pulley has migrated across the block.
Hmmm wonder which kit has upside…
Love it! So mechanical and substantial. Serious hardware.
Awesome picture Marcus!
Deciding to us a centrifugal charger like the Vortech line was such a great idea if you really think about the upside.
If we asked anyone from outside of the RS4 platform or even outside of Audi, to chose the “best” all around kit…I think it would be a landslide for guys to chose the JHM kit.
-So far the kit is a beast on very low boost (compared to others) with no cooling…perfect example is Marcus’ car
-Upgrade potential is more than most will ever need or want.
-The kit maintains the factory designed IM
-JHMs kit upgrades many items during installation to better than factory (LWCP 6-rib)
The top mount kits may be a little easier to install, but they IMO have more disadvantages…a lot more. (But plenty have screwed that install up, it still takes Amviva 7 days to install their kit, lol)
I guess I just don’t understand where all of the negativity around the JHM kit comes from within the platform. It’s just a shame that the haters can’t give this kit the credit it deserves, who cares if they don’t buy it…but they don’t even have valid complaints. I guess the top mount kits just look cooler (like pancake griddles and transformers)
I am extremely satisfied with my decision. They guys at JHM were real stand up dudes, and they took good care of me. Choice in centrifugal was no brainer. I had the Dinan Stage I centrifugal with Vortech V3 blower on my E46 M3 and it was amazing.
It is great to have a great Bunch guys that actually get it. Anyone that has a negative opinion on the jhm kit just exposes there complete ignorance. Show me one manufacturer that has a tvs or roots blower that has a stock Rev limit above 6800 RPM. It’s next to none. Roots style blowers loose efficiency as the RPM rises and they are not built to run in high RPM situations. The Vortech units have and are used in high RPM apps on several platforms for years running less boost and more hp. When you actually know about automotive history and past results you can see why the Vortech style supercharger is so much of a better choice.
Patiently waiting for Stage III.
are u not able to even get the lens back in there or do u just like it out?
It can be placed back in, although it will no longer function. I have been trying my best to find a way to replace that whole grille with a foglight deleted version. Unfortunately, no luck as of yet…
I am a whore for foglights, ill likely try to fit some kind of low profile led kit or something
That too is an option. I just don’t know where to purchase something like that.
it will likely be a lot of trial and error, Id start on ebay. god I cant wait to get to get started on my sc. how d u like yours? thoughts comments?
Sounds cheesy but some halo style with nothing in the middle a la new Dodge Hellcat might be neat.
ya I just googled those they might look decent.
Maybe…I will just wait and see…Here is a good pick of of the car as it looks now. Gonna remove the plastidip when I get back and get the trim professionally done.
