Great revival! I’m so stoked for the new season. My fantasy league draft is tomorrow - hoping to do better than last season’s disaster (top pick was Adrian Peterson . . .).
Given that my Bears are likely to suck (again), I’d like to see Brady or Manning get another ring. I know Brady isn’t a fan favorite, but the guy’s a winner. And Manning obviously deserves a shot at another one before he retires.
^^ nice quote. I only started playing FF a few years ago when I joined my work league, but I get why it’s so addicting. It’s a neat way to follow the action on Sundays and is more fun than just simple bets on winners.

Don’t you dare!
I picked up Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffrey in one of my FFLs tonight; I need these kids to flourish and flourish strong!

I love FF but last year and this year ive been studying for exams and licenses for work so i havent joined because i know it will get in the way.
And FUCK Tom Brady. You see the news about the spygate and how they had people sneaking into hotel rooms and locker rooms to steal actual playbook information. Worst part is goodell covered that up with spygate and did nothing.
And you better watch out for Dolphins this year. We are finally gonna make it to the playoffs again. I wouldnt be surprised if we even went a little deep into it as well.

I concur.
I had some kid on AZ tell me that the Dolphins do not run a wildcat offense; and I’m reading it like wut??? I told him since like 2008/9 season, Miami reformatted their offense to mimick the wildcat/spread option offenses (like college) and as a result, it’s changed their entire offense around. Apparently, he thinks the wild cat offense is where you hike it to the an offensive player shotgun style…he doesn’t understand it’s not the traditional formation their playing, it’s a style!
He also stated that Frank Gore is a better selection in a PPR than Matt Forte…um what?!? I argued that in 2014 both Matt Forte and Lamar Miller combined out scoured Jamaal Charles and Frank Gore combined but for whatever reason he still says that he’d pick up Gore over Miller and Forte!
In a standard format, maybe Gore over Forte or Miller, mind boggling!
Some people just want to hear themselves talk…

Miami doesn’t run the Wildcat anymore really. The so called wildcat featured Miami’s RB’s and had them passing and running around. Since we drafted Tannehill we dont really run it anymore but we run the Read option/Spread. its a system similar to Green Bay and Philly that allows Tannehill to decide whether to hand the ball off or keep it on a majority of run plays while running a spread like offense in the pass area.
But Miami is the one who brought the Wildcat back into existence. It was primarily run back in the 40’ and 50’s. Also the reason Miami brought it back is because at the time our QB coach was Dan Henning who happened to be the coach for Arkansas (previously) and he ran the wildcat system there with Darren Mcfadden and Felix Jones.
We went to it out of desperation really. Back in 2008 if i remember correctly. We weren’t doing so hot and went into New England and stomped that ass.
You bite your tongue. Tom Brady is a saint.
None of that information has been proved, is all from “anonymous sources” and reported by asshats that hate the Patriots because they’ve consistently won for the last 15 years. Every team tries to gain a competitive advantage and decipher signals. It just so happens that the Patriots are better at it than everyone else so they are labeled cheaters. If they were getting such a big competitive advantage from their spygate activities then why have they been so good after it was stopped?
As a Pats fan I’m not too happy to face Ndamukong Suh twice a year. Guy is dirty player but adds a lot to the team. Dolphins will be a tough matchup but I’ll bet you a coke they don’t make the playoffs.
Good point. Ditto for “Deflategate.” The Pats did even better against the Colts in the second half when we know for certain that the balls were properly inflated. All of this stuff is rubbish - the haters simply can’t stand the success of Brady/Belichick. I respect it.

Yep. Still a hater but believe they fully deserve the success achieved
